Match 12458 Juggernaut vs. Doctor Manhattan

Both Cain Marko and Jon Osterman were trapped in a room made of adamantium.

The outside of the room contained a large burst of tachyons. As a result neither of

them could leave the room. Both men stared at each other In what can only be called

bewilderment, as they tried to figure out what had happened. Suddenly Juggernaut spoke.

"I don't know who the hell you are and I don't really care. I do know that neitheir of us can

leave this room. I have a feeling that if I kill you, I'll get out of here." "That is a somewhat

reasonable conclusion to make. If you insist then let us fight."

I doubt that when someone puts Juggs in a match they immediately think, and state, that Cytorrak can and will help him. That's like putting Thor in a match and saying Odin can and will just help him out.

Going by that safe assumption and the set up itself, this is a fight between Manhattan and Juggs, and Juggs can't do anything to Manhattan, whereas Manhattan can do almost anything he wants to Juggs. So, Manhattan wins. Easily.

Considering that his powers largely depend on the well will of Cyttorak, that should be one of the first things people think about when Juggernaut is in a match.

Juggs is Juggs. Cyttorak is Cyttorak. This is a fight between Juggs and Manhattan. Cyttorak, other than giving Juggs the powers he has via the crystal, is not a factor.

And that just shows a lack of understanding about the character.

Regular old "Imma fight the X-Men and hope no one takes my helmet off!" Juggs gets tossed around like a pair of socks in a washing machine.

FULLY POWERED JUGGERNAUT would be such an awesome fight. Not sure who'd win that.

Your kidding right?

Juggs and Cyttorak are not the same character. Juggs is an avatar for Cyttorak, via the crystal. In a fight, it's Juggs doing the punching, not Cyttorak, but it is Cyttorak who gives Juggs the power to punch.

In this situation, Manhattan will turn Juggs into marmalade with a thought, and if, for some reason, Cyttorak is considered part of the fight, then maybe he can turn Juggs back into Juggs, and then we'll have ourselves a never ending loop.

Anyone have examples of situations where Cyttorak saves Juggernaut?

I gotta admit. I'm definitely leaning towards Dr. Manhattan in this.

That's exactly how i feel.

MANHATTAN TURNS CYTORRACK INTO PUPPY

Interesting, if insanely written, point, actually. Could Manhattan beat Cyttorack..?

Is Cain immune to transmutation? Because that's the only thing I can think of that would trump perfect invulnerability, if this is Juggs at his apex. Otherwise, Manhattan just holds Cain in the air until they both get bored.

No, he's not immune to that or any of the other tricks Manhattan can throw at him, like teleporting him into the middle of the sun, or turning his skin into bananas, or just vaporizing him entirely.

Actually he would be immune to the sun or the banana trick - he'd easily leave the pull of the Sun and he's literally been reduced to Skeleton by a being who stole his power... and proceeded to whup his ass as said skeleton.

Again, it all depends on how much power Cyttorak grants Cain. If it's just the bare minimum, he loses, if it's the max, Manhattan gets his shit kicked.
