Guest skadoosh
Then you probably haven't read the deadpool kills the marvel universe comics huh? Which is non-canon, which is exactly my point. Its part of that Wolverine vs the Marvel Universe comic series I think. A verycool series, indeed. Marvel at it's (non-canon) ballsiest.
Guest Pymp
Magneto is on Earth right? The entire planet is his weapon. Do you know how muh metals are inside the earth? Lava/magma could he used, he can manipulate gravity and not soley metals. His shield stops more than just metals, he could technically put Lex in a gravity bubble as crush him, or send him to space and or make a wormhole within that bubble and well kill him. He can see in the electro magnetic spectrum, and has a matrix like vision. So he can see through everything, he can manipulate electricity, man made or natural, so if his suit has any batteries, or wires, or even any electrical pulses he can use that. Guest Guest
In my eyes, Lex Luthor is one of the most overrated comic book villains out there. He's out of his league against someone like Magneto. Magneto is someone that's probably just as intelligent as Luthor, plus he has no vulnerability to Kryptonite. I can see Luthor designing some sort of special battle suit to give him the capabilities to take on Magneto. Even if it's made of plastic, it doesn't mean much. In the comic books, Magneto can manipulate & generate magnetic fields in order to lift objects that don't contain any metal. Also, in the comics, Mags can fire beams of magnetic energy, intense heat, bright lights, types of radiation, etc. He can channel his magnetic powers through his body to give him vast strength for a while, can generate magnetic force fields around himself that are extremely durable. He can pull in other magnetic energy from other sources within the Solar System if necessary. On top of that, given the fact that so much Earth, including everything from cars to buildings to just about everything else is made of or contains metal, Magneto has an almost unlimited supply of offensive weaponry to use against Luthor. I just don't see Luthor taking this. If you sat the two of them down to have a game of chess, then it's probably be on even ground. In a physical confrontation? I just don't see it. Magneto's powers are just too broad and can be employed in so many different ways that I just don't see Luthor being able to come up with a means of adapting/countering all of them. Luthor isn't being overrated here, in this match, but he can be. Then again, so can Magneto. Anyway, your above statement sums up the general consensus on the match pretty perfectly. While Luthor would definitely have contingencies for a lot of what Magneto can throw at him, he wont be able to counter everything the mast of magnetism can do. DSkillz
Pretty good set-up Pseudonym. While Luthor pretty likely has resources to try and combat Magneto with, most of them are probably nothing Mags can't counter or overcome. Overall, Magneto discovers the whereabouts of Luthor's Krytonite stores, but I could also almost see them striking a deal to work together in some fashion before it's all said and done.
