kainboa
Actually Namor was doing pretty damn good against both of them. I wouldn't call it a low showing. Like I said he punched Thing out the water all the way back to Utopia. Namor then beat Luke Cage if I recalled too. Namor then in the AVX which focuses on the one on one fights beat Luke Cage easily. Although I can't remember if he defeated Thing in the second battle in that issue. Edit: Just so you don't get confused. The first Namor vs Thing and Cage battle happened in the main book Avengers vs X-men. The second battle happened in AvX which focuses on the one on one fights which are awesome. In the AvX book, the Thing won against Namor, while they were underwater. I would most definitely call it a low showing.
Guest bigballerju
Edit: I have the comic and I think I will check again. I thought the battle ended on land the second time they fought in AvX.
kainboa
it ended with Namor being stuck underwater, and the Thing walking back to shore.
Guest bigballerju
Your right I just checked the comic Thing beat him far down in the ocean too. It had that big creature Thing used and more.

Guest rat
And also, on the subject of punching him into space, DD came from space, who's to say that he won't survive space. no matter what, A-man and Namor will both die by way of Doomsday powning them both. Guest skadoosh
They don't need to kill him to get rid of him.
Guest rat
yes, but it's one of an extremely, EXTREMELY, few choices.
Guest skadoosh
Uh huh. Namor and Aquaman are more than capable of punching or throwing Doosmday into space. That's my point.
AVP vs The Terminator
Their first thought wouldn't be "Shit, let's punch this guy into orbit", though.

Guest bigballerju
Not only that this match didn't say what version of Doomsday this is. That means we usually go with the most current version and current Doomsday can fly which is before the new 52.
Guest skadoosh
I did not know he could fly currently.
Guest rat
however, if they punch/throw him into space, he could still "swim" through space, right back to earth, and come back with a vengeance.
Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
Can they punch him out of the Earth? Not even close, I don't think even Hulk can or even Superman can, most likely just across a vast distance like a city or 5 cities.
Guest bigballerju
Oh yes Superman can punch Doomsday off planet. He didn't because honestly its pointless because Doomsday always finds a way back to Earth. Also Doomsday is Kryptonian so you punch him off Earth your sending him into more sunlight that would make him more powerful. Then when he lands on Earth again he will have a power boost. He should have handled Doomsday the smart way like Clark Kent on Smallville originally had in mind. Throw Doomsday into the phantom zone. Thats the perfect place for Doomsday because he will be powerless there and can't do anything. He will be trapped there for good. However knocking somebody off planet in a CBUB match counts as a win if they can't fly or teleport back to earth. Depending on what version of Hulk we are talking about he can punch Doomsday off Earth. Remember Skaar his son made a ass of Juggernaut and threw him off planet. I am pretty sure Hulk depending on how powerful knock him off planet too.
