Guest Dr. Pymp(mex) Posted September 8, 2012 Share Posted September 8, 2012 Adamantium won't do anything to Logan, why? well if you have lets say a sword made of adamantium, and I have one too, if we swing it at each other they wouldn't break, they would just make a metal on metal sound. I actually read that somewhere that no swords could slice through other swords unless one is that much more sturdy. No, they couldn't. Second part's true though, well done. Wolverine's been underwater for hours at a time during the course of his life, IIRC. He'll recover long before that happens. It usually takes a hell of a lot of force to penetrate adamantium, though, even with more adamantium, so the force behind a bow being handled by a human may not do the trick. It would be a lot easier, though, to target, say, the joints, eye sockets, ears, or even between vertebrae of said adamantium skeleton, and it wouldn't require an adamantium tip. Adamantium tipped arrows would definitely go through Wolverine if aimed and done properly. Just like that blade he made to kill himself if he ever lost it. In real life, diamond is used to shape, polish, etc., other diamonds all the time. Point is moot, though, since Clint likely can't provide enough force to do so. EDIT: After reading the set-up, I don't like Hawkeye's odds here, given that he's only 150 feet away from Logan. It's been tried, and it didn't work. I'm aware that's how thing work in reality, but comics don't tend to follow such scientific laws, especially concerning Adamantium, which is an pretty unfeasible metal.
