Guest skadoosh
Albert Wesker, from the Resident Evil films vs Deacon Frost, from the first Blade film I'm only using the film versions because i'm more familiar with them. Frost is in his Blood God form and Wesker at his own peak. They know nothing of each other prior to the fight. They are fighting in a large, abandoned military base, with no windows, and all the doors are locked, so they can't leave. There are various crates filled with guns and explosives and whatnot all over the place, which they can use if they wish. To win, one must kill or totally incapacitate the other. Opinions? C.T.
They know nothing of each other, so neither will be able to kill the other. Now maybe one can knock the other out...they both have similar levels of speed, strength, durability and regen...hmm. Gonna think on it.
Guest skadoosh
Cool, thanks for the opinion. There's always dismembering, knock outs, etc.
C.T.
Dismembering wouldn't work on Frost, as shown in the film. Knock outs would but they're pretty equal in stats, so unless one gets in a surprise blow, I doubt it. Maybe if one tires?
Guest skadoosh
Do either of them even get tired?
C.T.
No clue. Maybe if Wesker figures out sunlight is a weakness, he can blast some holes in the warehouse with the various explosives and weapons...that is if sunlight even affects the Blood God. Guest skadoosh
I doubt sunlight would work, but i can't say for sure.
C.T.
How's about one tries to infect the other? The Blood God with a little T-Virus action or Wesker as a vampire? If that even is possible. Hell, maybe they should question why they're fighting and team up, heh.
Guest skadoosh
Infection might work, but which is more powerful, the mystical blood-crap or the good ol' virus? They'd make a Hell of a team...
C.T.
I have no idea. Indeed.
Guest Jason Redfield
Is "Wesker at his peak" Ouroboros Wesky or regular superhuman Wesky? To be honest, I think this basically consists of the two of them wailing on each other for a long-ass time until they both call it quits dominate the world together. I don't know if Wesker can readily infect someone in his standard superhuman form, even if he could I don't know if the T-Virus could be relied upon to really stop the Blood God. Ouroboros, on the other hand, was extremely volatile and really nasty stuff capable of downright dominating and consuming organic matter, so I'd give it better odds especially since "science" seems to be able to best the Blood God as evidenced by that anti-vampire "make their heads explode" toxin. Then again, there's no guarantee that either the virus or Ouroboros won't just turn Deacon into something really, really nasty. That seems to be the trend in Resident Evil, after all. Albert's pretty durable, so Deacon will have a hard time harming him. The guy literally tanked bullets to the face and torso, being dropped out of a flying airplane and into an active volcano, and a rocket exploding inches from his head. And, of course, he took repeated hits from Chris Redfield's massive arms -- arms no doubt capable of shattering Mount Olympus should it ever stand in his way. Ouroboros Wesker was eventually killed, but only after being dropped in lava and having two RPGs simultaneously fired at his head. Original Wesky just seemed to tank anything thrown at him. Outside of some weird Blood God voodoo action, I don't see Deacon matching or surpassing that level of damage. And again, "infecting" Albert may very well just lead to vampiric Wesky... Indolent
Jason. This is Wesker from the films. He's not exactly the same as the Wesker from the games - he's a bit different as he's been shot through the face with a gun and has regenerated from entire wounds via consuming a man (After being headshotted), which denotes weaker regeneration and durability. His speed doesn't seem to be the same, might just be slightly beneath as you can see him in a blur slightly - Wesker appeared to teleport in the games. Blood God Frost would win here. C.T.
And, of course, he took hits from Chris Redfield's massive arms -- arms no doubt capable of shattering Mount Olympus should it ever stand in his way. You lost me at this. Heh.

C.T.
Wait what? How does pushing a rock into a lava river equate to shattering Mount Olympus?
Indolent
It's exaggeration obviously but I think the general gist was that Chris pulled of something (such as that massive frickin boulder) that would be impossible. He's just playing on it. Is my take on it.
Guest Jason Redfield
Darn, that's what I get for not reading all of the set-up. Yeah, movie version of Wesky was considerably less impressive. And yes, the thing about Chris's arms was a joke.
C.T.
Um...the very first line in the "setup" made that clear, I think. And haha, funny.
Guest Jason Redfield
Alas, I don't exactly have a good track record with setups. I got so wrapped up in getting my reply out that I only read the lower paragraph.

Guest Jason Redfield
...The lower paragraph minus the first line. Why not just send me to the corner with a dunce cap and be done with it?
