Boratz
Governor gets his ass kicked by Michonne but he can whip the crap out of Merle? Lame :/ That's TV for you... Merle could of probably whipped Governor pretty easily but he was already beaten down by Governor's group and then got his finger's bitten off by that man. Also I guess to go with other people's discussions about Daryl, I think he will be kind of cold at first about what happened. I think he will definately want hardcore revenge, but I think with a little help from Carol, he'll move on. One of my friends and I have been discussing the finale, we have an idea that they may leave the prison before the Governor's attack and leave it until next season. It wouldn't be the first time the TV show changed the storyline from the comic and from the clips I have seen, I kinda get that vibe. Also I read a interview saying that the city in which the set of Woodbury is will be in season 4. I don't know if this is reliable or if it is even worth anything, but Woodbury may still play a role after the big climatic battle, if there is one. Also for the whole Rick taking down Merle so easily, watch it again. He took Merle by surprise with a pistol whip.
AVP vs The Terminator
He wasn't holding a pistol. He turned him around and punched him in the face while Merle was holding everyone at gunpoint. Edit: Hmm, come to think of it, Rick handled Daryl pretty easily in hand-to-hand too, even when Daryl had a knife. It was just a brief skirmish before Shane came in and bull-rushed him, but Rick dodged both his slashes and twisted his arm to make him drop the knife. Man, I need to watch the first season again. There's so much I don't remember.
Guest Darxeth
Yeah. Rick is a badass. I honestly believe he could defeat everyone in the show in h2h.
AVP vs The Terminator
I think he'd stand a good chance for sure. He had the upper hand on Shane too, and that guy was a musclehead.

She took on the Governor who is twice her size. She might be the best fighter of the group.
AVP vs The Terminator
She wasn't doing that well in that fight until she grabbed the glass shard, and Governor doesn't have the training Rick has.
Guest Darxeth
What makes Rick so deadly is how tough he is along with his training. He's shown to be pretty durable and I lost count of how many times Shane claimed Rick was tough as nails.
Guest Hayesmeister5651
Hershel's blonde daughter (don't remember her name and she doesn't have a big enough role for me to want to), Hershel, Carol, Martinez, Governor, Sasha, Allen, Judith, many nameless Woodbury soldiers. Who would have thought the Governor would be the one haha. I had a feeling he'd be in the next season.
Guest Hayesmeister5651
I wonder where the governor went off to? Perhaps he will find Randall's group if they survived this long. From what Randall said of them, they'd like the governor.
Guest Darxeth
This past episode was super predictable, but awesome. Poor Andrea :/and Milton.
AVP vs The Terminator
Last night's episode was brilliant but lacked any real climax. Guess the showdown between Governor and Rick will wait until next season. Kinda happy-yet-disappointed that no one really major died. Milton did and that was a shame; I've been wishing a violent death upon Andrea ever since she shot Daryl so no loss there; and Alan was pretty sad, I guess. I mean, guy's wife gets bitten, his son takes a bullet courtesy of Merle, and then he gets gunned down by his own leader. Dude just can't catch a break. He should've taken that shot on Governor when he had the chance. I sure as hell wouldn't have hesitated. Martinez and the other dude probably would've backed him up if he'd done that, too. Also, *vulgarity* Carl. Kid's turning into Shane. I'll admit, he had a point when he lectured Rick, but he had no right to shoot that kid.
Guest silversurfer092
After avoiding this thread for the past 3 weeks due to not seeing the past 3 episodes, I realized I don't care because I now hate this show. Seriously.
Boratz
Last night I told a friend of mine that they took a huge dump on the comics... I know they have to turn away a little and do their own thing, but I think there is a point in time when you have to at least follow the story. I have absolutely no idea what type of story there will be next season.... I do like that we are finally seeing an insane Governor... I know the comic Governor is probably too nasty for TV or at least AMC but at least we can see this dark character. I honestly do not like Carl at all... I know everyone or at least many people think he is some sort of zombie slayer of week who is tough as nails but he is just an idiot... Someone said he was turning into Shane and that's what I see, but Shane was some what likeable. I think Rick needs to do the father thing and just punish his son, put him in his place. As for Andrea, I know everyone hated her television counterpart, but I would have liked to have seen more of her in future stories... I guess maybe if the writers could have made her more like her comic counterpart. And Milton, I guess this is something I wanted them to do with Merle as well, which they kind of did it for both of them but it wasn't really that satisfying to me... I don't know... I guess I would have liked to have seen more of a sacrafice like heroic death between the two... I guess Merle's was the closest that I hoped for... I knew both of them were going to die eventually, but I wanted them to do something would weaken the Governor (or in Merle's case, I wanted him to be the one to take out the Governor and then get killed himself in a heroic like action.) ............... But I guess they did go out with some redemption. As for Rick, I think it was a good idea to bring Woodbury citizens into the group... He is going back to what he used to be and that is kind of nice to see... He was the heroic sheriff in the first season and now we finally get to see him going back to that... I still don't know about taking them to the prison... I guess there is no where else to go... Woodbury, I guess in my opinion is where the Governor lives and he probably doesn't want more conflict and war, so to avoid that, he probably just thought it would be better to take them to a place that he is comfortable with... Like I said, I don't know.
Guest Hayesmeister5651
Also, *vulgarity* Carl. Kid's turning into Shane. I'll admit, he had a point when he lectured Rick, but he had no right to shoot that kid.The kid was just trying to kill his family, and now that he has a gun in his face he wants mercy. Forget that, if I as Carl I would have shot him on sight. Plus Carl made a good case, especially about Andrew.
AVP vs The Terminator
He'd been informed that Carl's family were a bunch of psychopaths who murdered like 20 of his friends, and he literally had no way of getting the gun up fast enough to shoot with the way he was handing it over. You could make a case for shooting the kid on sight-- probably what I'd have done, in all honesty-- but what Carl did was straight-up cold blooded murder. ThePhenomenalOne
That episode didn't do enough IMO. Someone bigger needed to die and there should have at least been a Governor/Rick moment. Didn't even have to be a fight or gun fire, just a look or something. They told the kid to DROP his weapon. He didn't. He started to hand it over, I would've shot too. Who knows what that dude would've done.
AVP vs The Terminator
And? He had three guns pointed at him, and there's no way in hell he'd have been able to point the shotgun effectively from the way he was holding it before getting shot anyway. He wasn't a threat.
ThePhenomenalOne
Still would've shot him. Twice. Cops tell you to drop a weapon and if you look scared and walk towards them holding your weapon trying to give it to them, they're shooting you in the dick or the leg.
ThePhenomenalOne
I honestly know that it was wrong. I think I just like that part because that was the only WTF moment in that episode IMO. The governor shooting all of those people....that wasn't WTF, that dude was crazy and when I saw that look on his face I said to my friends, "he's going to shoot all of those people!" I then laughed after it happened and said I told you so the whole time until Talking Dead started and I turned off the Tv...
Guest Hayesmeister5651
I like the caller on Talking Dead that was quoting this verse: Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation The italicized part is the one he was reading, the bolded part is the verse Hershel highlighted for the Governor to read. That is probably the nicest *vulgarity* you ever lol. I love how that caller scared them so bad.
AVP vs The Terminator
So overall I enjoyed this season. The first half was kinda slow and it had its share of meh episodes, but ever since the episode with Morgan the writing has been top-notch IMO. The acting's been phenomenal - I don't think I could point out a single bad actor among the main cast if you asked me to. Andrew Lincoln, David Morrissey, Norman Reedus, Lew Temple, Michael Rooker, Lennie James (seriously cannot wait until he returns again) Dallas Roberts and Scott Wilson were all brilliant, in particular.
