Freddy struggled to match Morpheus but as the two dream deities battled with reality itself but he continued to hold his own. "Bitch please is that all you got", he cried out as his creation a gigantic, flaming serpent tore through Morpheus' spider. Morpheus was determined to wipe the grin off the vulgar demons deformed face. He summoned a wave to drown the snake, and his creation but though the waters swallowed up Freddy his serpent pushed through to attack Morpheus.

Hades and Lucifer seeing both champions about to destroy each other pulled them to safety.

"What the f''' was that" "Silence Krueger." The disgruntled dream demon shut up.

Hades and Morpheus shook hands, "Well done old friend. Its only a matter of time now before I take back what is mine." "Funny, you hated this place before." "That was then this is post lake of fire. Even if I have only the damned to reside over now I will have the plesure of defying that cursed christion god and holding his userper minion's heart in my hands." "And then what he only rules here because his wretched father allows him to. He will almost certainly oppose youre return." "Let him come for me then I would see this as the start of something bigger than me." "What do you mean." "We rise up and take back what was once ours." "Our believers have long since forsaken us. Youre brother tried to oppose him before but he is more powerful than any of us." "But is he stronger than all of us." "He is omnipotent Hades we cannot fight him." Well than he will simply have to kill me then because I'd rather die than go back to being helpless." "Well then I will do whatever I can to help."

Meanwhile Lucifer watched the ongoing fight intently. Niko had kept Hellboy on the ropes since the fight began, using the shadows to hit and run Hellboy with fire and earthquakes. Hellboy had used his superior firepower to hold ground but now he was running for cover. Niko saw an opening and seised his chance. He appered in the shadows to Hellboys right and and cut through his arm robbing him of the hand of doom. As hellboy cried out in pain and fell back Niko pressed on and ran his sword through Hellboy but as he did so he dropped his guard and Hellboy shot him through the neck.

As both champions fell to the ground dead. Lucifer scowled.

"Oh were we too late there, damn well we'll call that a tie and count them both out. You are not picking well here. One more did you say." "Yes one more and then it's youre turn to die that was the deal. Now pick I long to see this annoyance end." "Well someone doesn't like feeling threatened does he. What did you think killing me would be fun and easy after you chrushed my hopes first with this champion shit." "I still do now pick."

Hades found a creature called the ghost rider. A spirit of vengeance with incredible power and a lust for revenge on Lucifer.

Lucifer pulled a lost soul out of one of his many torture chambers. Dante Aligheiri had once come close to fighting his way through all of hell. Lucifer equped him with his old weopons and promised his now nearly disintegrated mind a second chace to see his love if he won.

As the two unwilling servants of hell began to fight in the final preliminary round their controllers prepared to battle for the now unclear future of the underworld.

I don't know much about Dante but from what i do know i doubt he can beat Ghost Rider. The latter has the sheer power of Hellfire at his disposal and can't really be killed, but as i said, i'm not an expert on Dante, so if he can do much more than slay demons with swords please let me know.

He defeated Lucifer, death and pretty much all of hell and he is equiped with Deaths scythe.

That sounds very impressive, but it's only actually impressive if those versions of Lucifer and whatnot were powerful and skilled. It's safe to assume they were, but specifics would help. Regardless, if he's got the durability of a human then the Rider would kill him pretty quickly, but if he's tough enough to take some serious Hellfire-y pain then we've got a good fight here. However, if the Rider cracks out the Penance Stare then it's probably all over for the ex-templar.

That's a good point. Dante's pretty damn sinful, so the Penance Stare could probably take him out. Ghost Rider would have to get past the Scythe and Cross first. And yeah, Dante "killed" Lucifer, but actually just freed Lucifer from his form. Satan basically wanted Dante to do what he did. He can take a lot of supernatural damage, he would have to be able to to make it past all 9 circles of hell.

True the penance stare would probably work on Dante but given his ability to absolve the sins of himself and others its possible that he would be immune or at least resistant.

Ghost Rider can deal out some serious damage. Has Dante ever faced someone with the Riders kind of firepower? Would his weapons actually affect the Rider? And is his will to absolve himself stronger than the Penance Stare itself? It's unlikely.

His weapons, being supernatural in nature, could definitely hurt Ghost Rider. And I'm pretty sure Dante is better in close combat than Ghost Rider by a lot. Of course, if Ghost Rider has his cycle, that kind of shakes things up a bit. And there's no way of knowing of how the enemies Dante fights stack up to the Rider.

They're both servants of God. It depends on God's will. Literally both of them get their powers from God. Before anyone says "the devil gave Ghost Rider's power" which is half true. The devil is an extension of God, therefore the Rider's powers come from God.

It is a fairly simple solution: Rider wins. I would dare say even hands down. Why? Because while a 'zombified mind' Dante was appointed by sick Lucifer and given an incentive and packs the extras, Rider has been appointed by 'much more' than just Lucifer. Rider's powers are limitless, if the object of his 'vengeance' is guilty. In this case, even if Dante does not have a mind intact, it is still a sowing ground for Lucifer's bidding. That is all Rider needs to expend as much power as he needs to effect one of many of his 'tools' to win this. Rider all the way.

When you say the rider was appointed by much more than Lucifer what do you mean exactly. Hades just kind of steared him towards Lucifer and Dante.

His power comes from Zarathos a demon bound to him after his deal with Mephisto who isnt a real demon just a shape shifting sorceror.

Supernatural weapons aren't unquestionably dangerous to Ghost Rider, but i can see why they would be here, seeing as Dantes weapons have hurt being of a similar Hellish background to the Rider. It's still pretty hard to put the Rider down, and damn hard to land hits if he's on his bike, but Dante obviously has the skills to do so, if he can get close enough. If he does, though, then the Rider can use the Penance Stare on him..

Even if this is actually how the Riders powers work, this is a fight between him and Dante, there is no "God" involved, the OP didn't state there was, so we can't read that far into the characters histories to figure out who wins. This is a straight up fight.

Actually Mephisto isn't just a sorcerer but a demon, one of the lords of hell or realms of. And Zarathos isn't bound by a deal with Mephisto but Zarathos soul was taken after defeat by Mephisto and a human which Mephisto made a deal with.

GR's hellfire can sear flesh and the soul. He's got more than a bike but mystical chains that are near indestructable. He is also immune to any mystical attacks that are specific to beings with living souls(-marvel). Physical attacks will not harm him. His power grows to what is needed to defeat his opponent. And then ofcourse, super strength. God like level in powers . I don't know of Dante but can he nullify any of this?

TOAA is the one who created the Marvel U, no?

Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?

No, Ghost Rider's powers do not come from Zarathos.

Zarathos is just the dude who can make full use of the Ghost Rider's powers depending on who he's bound to at the time, nothing more.

iirc, he's someone who used to opposed Mephisto in Hell and Mephisto defeated him and imprisoned him within one of the hosts of the Spirits of Vengeance.

Ghost Rider can still be physically broken, his body can be destroyed, even if he isn't actually killed, and Dante is more than capable of doing so with the weapons, skills and durability he has. However, the Rider has his chains, Hellfire and bike to utilize, which i think actually give him the win.

His body reforms near instantly from physical damage. He can't be put down by purely physical means, but Dante's weapons are spiritual in nature.

Well, the Penance Stare would be a one-shot-win for Blaze, but since Dante used the souls he's freed to absolve himself using Beatrice's cross, I'm pretty sure the Stare won't work on him.

Other than that, I'm stumped.
