Rakai, can you shut the hell up about your Preds? Skadoosh already made it pretty clear he doesn't give a shit about your feelings for the Predators, or how you're "offended" that he put a Pred against a Twilight Vampire. It's downright pathetic, and the Predators aren't good characters, they're straight out horrible.

Thank you for enhancing my point, although you were, perhaps, a little more aggressive than necessary, but i guess that's for the comment's intended receiver to decide.

Am I the only one who wanted the arguing to continue? I guess that just makes me a bad person.

Actually, i think it's hilarious.

This thread...just pure win.

Quoted, quite simply, for truth.

And what would that pray tell be?

For such skinny little arms, pasty complexions and strange....Glitter, the majority of them from a purely combatant stance aren't too shabby.

Hopefully though, they aren't proof against plasma blasts. I do recall that fire was one of their weaknesses, wasn't it?

If the Pred can hit them of course.

And that alone is an injustice. Real vampires should have those abilities. Not these glittering twats.

Twilight vampires are vulnerable to flames. Plasma would do more than sufficient damage. If anything, a direct hit would more than likely severely maim or even downright kill a Twilight vampire depending on the level of charge. A low powered shot would injure a Twilight vampire, a moderately powered shot would either incapacitate or kill a Twlight vampire. A high powered shot would downright obliterate a Twilight vampire.

And those are charges from the Standard Issue plasma caster.

Omni-casters on the other hand... Considering that weapon fires off three different types of energy, such as Burst Plasma, Incinerator Plasma and Dark Plasma.

So really, now it's a matter of questioning whether or not Edward or any Twi-twat is more than capable of dodging high speed energy.

A bio-scanner and a multi-barreled firing mechanism enables this weapon to analyze targets and attack them with various types of plasma munitions. There are three kinds: 1) burst plasma, 2) fire plasma, and 3) dark plasma. Burst plasma is identical to that fired by the plasma caster. Fire plasma ignites targets. And dark plasma causes a controlled energy reaction that correlates its damage to the mass of a target, enabling the weapon to kill any enemy with a limited number of hits.

And that is straight out from AvP: Extinction regarding the Omni-Caster.

A plasma caster would've evened the level field here but for reasons unknown... either lack of understanding of both characters or just plain making bad habits of one sided fights... Skadoosh opted not to give Dachande his plasma caster here.

Even the Twilight Vampires admit that dismemberment is not enough to kill their kind, and fire is needed to really ensure the deed is done.

So really, in the highly, highly unlikely event that somehow.. in someway.. Dachande dismembers Edward.. He couldn't kill him even in that unlikely event because he wasn't given his plasma caster. So Dachande was screwed from the get go, as much as I hate admitting that considering how accomplished and physically capable is Dachande is on an impressive level, even for a Yautja.

And down he goes, re-reading the set up again.

Forest, both are fighting to the death, etc.....Yeah.

Conclusion: Edward Cullen takes Broke Tusks weapon and slices him up with it before he realizes whats going on.

Was gonna suggest he could set the forest on fire, but as neither has prior knowledge, that won't occur to him and he wouldn't know either.

I almost want to say due to a lack of understanding of the character.

Forest, both are fighting to the death, etc.....Yeah.

Kind of hard to do when you don't have a means of somehow hitting your opponent with a fast and long range energy type weapon in order to slow him down to engage in a real fight.

And considering Twi-vamps can only die from dismemberment and incineration.. This match was just handed to Edward before it was even started, as much as I hate it.

Was gonna suggest he could set the forest on fire, but as neither has prior knowledge, that won't occur to him and he wouldn't know either.

The thing is, to my understanding of Dachande's personality and his character he is not foolish enough at all to just rush into a fight without gauging his opponent. So I'm seeing a lack of understanding of character here, despite Skadoosh's claims that he's only read the comic. As an Elder one would think he wouldn't make such a rookie mistake to just rush into a fight without observing his prey first. I can see an Unblooded warrior doing something as stupid as rushing into a fight without observation but an Elder would be wise enough to observe their prey first to assess any notable weaknesses before attacking.

Veteran Hunters know that it's crucial for a successful hunt on a new prey in particular would be to observe first and come prepared.

Anywhoo, it's almost 6:00 AM.. I gotta go to bed.
