xLEGACYx
THE BEGINNING OF MY ARC http://www.electricf...showtopic=29470 PREVIOUS CHAPTER (in case you missed it) http://www.electricf...showtopic=29529 THIS CHAPTER Darth Maul stood in the middle of the war torn simulation, the bodies of his adversaries lay strewn about the room. Using his powers, he manipulated the controls and turned off the simulation. Walking over to the door, he blasted the doors open with a force push. As they came flying off the hinges, the doors skidded down the hall. Sparks flew from the doors as Maul made his way into the hall and began to stride down to the medical unit. Entering the room, he looked around and saw multiple liabilities. Igniting his light saber, he walked over to the first table and swiped Anole’s head off. After finishing off the others, he walked over to Slade’s side. Grabbing Slade’s mask, he then threw the assassin over his shoulder. As he exited through the front door, Maul activated a beacon on his gauntlet. A sleek ship slowly floated down and became visible once again, touching down on the lawn. Lying on a table, Slade was strapped down with monitors and tubes hooked up everywhere. Maul, doing as instructed, began to activate the process of repair. The two assassins reached there destination in a secluded underground base. After the long flight, Deathstroke had been given ample time to heal considering his healing factor. As the ramp of Maul’s ship opened, the two men aboard came walking out of the interior. The both walked deeper into the complex without saying a word to one another. Eventually they came to a giant chamber. The room was deep with a long entrance that led to a throne on the far end. The pathway there was illuminated by torches that ran the full length of the walkway. The two figures kneeled before the being on the throne in reverence for the power they knew he possessed. As the figure leaned forward, his cloak kept his features covered. He voice boomed in the chamber as he spoke. Cloaked Leader: “You have failed me Slade. If you want the recognition and honor you crave, it will not happen again. Darth Maul wants to know the deepest secrets of the Dark side and I can provide you both with what you desire but only after doing as I command. I will give you another chance Slade but don’t fail me again. I have something for you to help you in your next endeavors.†He motions in the direction of an armor setting illuminated in the corner. The armor was made of Nth metal and its properties and abilities made it quite rare in the universe. Donning the armor Deathstroke could feel its properties influencing his body. Deathstroke left the chamber and headed for his aircraft and his next mission. As Darth Maul began to leave, his master stopped him. Cloaked Leader: “If Deathstroke fails me again, it will be your turn and your first mission will be to eliminate him yourself.†With a nod Darth Maul threw his hood back up over his head. As he began to walk out, a smile could be seen on his face by the light of the torches until he faded into the darkness. A few hours later, Slade was climbing into his plane. As he entered the lights flashed on and the engine roared to life. As the plane taxied onto the runway, Slade walked to his command chair. As he sat down, the screen on his desk lit up and a figure obscured in shadows appeared. His master had chosen to speak to him directly for this job. This next mission was important to the success of future missions. His master informed him that his next target was an object and not a person this time. Being informed, his next target was the S.H.I.E.L.D. database of heroes, criminals, and terrorists. He was to infiltrate the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, release any inmates who may be onboard, and retrieve the personnel database. Once he secures those files it will help him locate and learn more about his future targets. Turning the plane towards New York, Slade kept his plane cloaked visibly and technological wise from the S.H.I.E.L.D. radar. He would have to get into the helicarrier and download the database directly. Even though the personnel section was locked, the ship’s plans and mechanisms seemed to be accessible. Flying closer, Slade opened the bay door to his plane. As the door opened, the wind whipped in blowing the tails of his mask wildly. As he crossed over, Slade dove out into the open air. Jessica Drew stood out on the deck, breathing in the cool night air. It was another sleepless night with nightmares about the Skrull invasion. Hearing a faint sound she searched the skies for its source. Slade free fell towards the helicarrier. Coming within reach, he grabbed an antenna as he fell. Sliding down it, he made his way to an entrance to the ship. Accessing the internal map he found a way that led him to the holding cells on board. Deathstroke w/ Nth metal armor upgrade, Promethium Sword, Energy Lance, C4 Explosives, an Uzi w/ 4 clips, and 4 semtex grenades. VS A normal staffed S.H.I.E.L.D. crew, Black Widow, and Spiderwoman READ BELOW FOR A SUMMARY OF HIS PLAN If he makes it to the holding cells he can release Taskmaster and Bullseye as distractions. Then he must make his way to the database. There he will encounter Black Widow (with no prep or info about here). If he defeats her and gathers the info he must then make his way back to the helicarrier deck. There he will face Spider Woman (with all the info S.H.I.E.L.D. has on her) and 20 S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. He must either defeat or escape Spider Woman and the 20 Agents. (He can call his plane back only to pick him up)

Boratz
Definitely an A from me and I am liking this arc even though I never was able to read the first two. I really like seeing Slade getting used (mainly because I have become a fan of Arrow and I just like seeing one of it's characters getting a little bit of the spotlight). As for the match, I guess I will go with Slade. I mean it will not be some easy walk in the park or a simple cake walk, but he has the skills that will surpass the agent of SHIELD as well as Black Widow and Spider-Woman. Can't wait to see what is to come.

Guest bigballerju
Excellent setup and Deathstroke has this one in the bag. Slade is superior to Jessica Drew in physical abilities and more. Slade with his new armor and weapons could easily dispatch the Shield agents.
DSkillz
Good continuation of your arc, LEGACY. This mission is pretty much up DS's alley. Slade is superior to Jessica Drew in physical abilities ... ¿Que? Last I checked, even the New 52 version of Slade "only" has the strength of ten men, while Jessica has 7-ton strength. I'm pretty sure Jessica's still quicker as well. Slade is physically superior to the Black Widow for sure, but not Spider-Woman. Still, with the Nth metal armor and his skill and arsenal, he be able to get through the S.H.I.E.L.D. forces and get the info he needs.

He was able to rip a door off a large plane at 40,000 ft with one arm.

C.T.
Well, I'm assuming a plane door doesn't weigh more than 7 tons.
Guest Darxeth
Perhaps. But what about tearing a plane door off while traveling at 500 mph with one arm? Gotta' be a lot of resistance.
Guest sirmethos
Perhaps. But what about tearing a plane door off while traveling at 500 mph with one arm? Gotta' be a lot of resistance. Not quite. If you actually look at the scan, the direction in which Slade is ripping off the door, is such that the pressure of the air is actually helping him. xLEGACYx
although it would still require greater than the strength of "ten men" to pry the door off one handed.

Guest sirmethos
ANYWAYS.... regardless the armor is suppose to amp his physical attributes more than his standard augmentations are. This is true. The airplane door 'feat' is just a bad example of that.
xLEGACYx
This is true. The airplane door 'feat' is just a bad example of that.it was just the best one I could remember off the top of my head.
Guest sirmethos
If a bad 'feat' is the best you can think of, that doesn't change the fact that it's a bad 'feat'. In which case, you'd be better off simply not posting the feat in the first place, or at least waiting until you have a better one.
xLEGACYx
the fact that he tore a steel door off a plane while in mid air with one arm is not a "bad" feat. but that is just a matter of opinion. The metal around his hand gets crumpled by his strength. While yes the planes movement helps rip the door off, he still tore the metal with his bare hands (which is mighty impressive and hard to see 10 men doing, considering the thickness of the door.)
