Match 13163 Brainiac and Elle Bishop vs. Iron Man and Spider-Man

Takes place during the Clark Kent and Green Arrow vs. Power Girl and Justice Society of America match.

 

Brainac 5 sat down at Watchtower as he observed the battle between Clark's League and the Justice Society of America from Earth 2. It greatly interested him that there had been a disturbing number of events regarding beings from alternate universes coming to Clark's world. He first noticed the changes with the Legion of Superheroes in the future. Once again he went back in time to help Clark but this time he wouldn't let Clark know about it. The only person who knew he was back from the future was Chloe who informed him of the recent events.

 

“So why don't you want Clark and the League to know your here from the future to help them out? Clark would actually be happy to see you after you helped him last time. You’re what kept Darkseid from taking control over Clark." Chloe said as she typed away on the computer as Watchtower looked for a crack in time and space using kryptonian technology among other things beyond what this world present time was capable of doing. “Coming here was dangerous enough as it always is with time travel. However I don't what exactly is going on here and Clark knowing about my visit could alternate things for the bad depending on what's going on. While Clark battles the visitors from alternate Earths. It's up to me to find out where the source of the problem is coming from that's causing alternate worlds to open up to each other. Now with my knowledge and information from the future I know of another Earth that's been getting a lot of recent invasions just as much as Clark's Earth. This Earth and that seem to be the two main sources of destination for interactions with other Earths. I am going to use Clark's fortress to go over to that Earth by using one of its crystals. I just need you to tell me when is the next opening because that's when the fortress will be able to use that opening in time and space to send me over there. You don't know how much of a big help you’re doing here Chloe." Brainac said as he sat back and let Chloe absorb it all in.

 

“Wow boy is that a lot to take in. Umm...well I guess I did you a big favor because the next opening is in a couple of days actually. Good luck and I won't tell Clark. “Chloe said as she went about her other business on Watchtower and kept track of the Justice League's fight with the JSA.†Thank you Chloe I will be on my way. I'm come back and inform you of what I know." Brainac flew off as a loud whoosh was heard.

 

Days Later…

 

Brainac had been in fortress as he took the crystal in the Fortress that allowed time travel and access to other universes. Brainac stuck it in the panel as a loud noise that sounded like a huge explosion went off was heard. A portal opened to another world as Brainac took a big breath. “ If I don’t get back in time or don’t return the message I left the rest of the Legion in the future will notify them of my mission and then they can come find me if I need the help. Hopefully not but I must complete this mission at all costs and return to help the Justice League before things get real bad.†Brainac said this to himself as entered the portal with the crystal in his hand as the portal closed behind him.

 

Minutes Later…

 

Elle Bishop drove up to the Company as a portal opened up in front of her. A blonde haired man with a gold ring on his finger stepped out as the portal closed behind her. “Shit this had to happen on my day off. I don’t have time for this.†Elle got her gun ready as she slowly approached the man who turned around to look at her. “Okay I don’t know who the hell you are but you obviously are a Meta human so put your hands in the air and explain yourself. I need to get you out the public eye now before you attract more attention.†Elle demanded as she pointed her gun at him. Brainac sighed in annoyance. “I don’t have time for this but I don’t want to start out in this world with a fight and attracting trouble. Best I just see what the lady is about and what she wants. “Brainac thought to himself as he nodded in agreement and followed her. “ Great you just made my day. Follow me into my office and we can talk some more. You can tell me who the hell you are and what abilities you have.†Elle said with a smile happy she didn’t have to fight someone she just met with Meta powers for once. She hadn’t been in the mood so she was glad this one was peaceful.

 

Moments later Elle and Brainac were sitting in her office as he explained his situation to her. Elle shook her head in disbelief but was happy she ran into him first. That meant this was her chance to show herself she was just as good as Mr.Bennet in the company. Even better was she had a feeling what Brainac was after and if she was correct they were gone be in for a hell of a fight. “Okay good news is Brainac I think I know the source of your problems. Bad news is you’re not going to get it without a fight. “Elle said as she waited for his reaction. “ Whatever this is has caused problems on a multiverse scale that needs to be stopped immediately before worlds are destroyed. I will do what I must.†Brainac said as he waited to hear what the cause of the problem was. “Okay then. It’s called a cosmic cube and it has power beyond anything you can imagine. In someone’s hands it could easily destroy worlds and cause the problems you have been having on your world. Now the Avengers which are a superhero team have been having problems containing it for a very good while now. The energy levels of the cube have been increasing immensely. Now I will help you get this Cube because one I like my life and don’t want this power to destroy my world. But two this is going to look very good with my superiors. We were actually discussing why such power was in the hands of Shield and the world’s most powerful superheroes. Shield and the Avengers won’t give it without a fight. Now lucky for us I can get us in their headquarters which is on the Shield Carrier unnoticed. Problem is I need to know whether you’re as powerful as you say you are to defeat whichever one of them we encounter? I can defend myself.†Elle said this with a smile as her hands lit up with electricity as she waited for his response. Brainac nodded in agreement at her display and super speed away. He immediately came back with Captain America’s shield from the headquarters in seconds. “So does that answer your question? Oh by the way that’s just one of my powers. “Brainac 5 said smiling back. “ Oh my… That is impressive. Just one? Well in that case let’s go. Let me brief my superiors on the situation and we will be on our way. “Elle said.

 

The mission begins…

 

On the carrier Elle and Brainac 5 made their way through the carrier disguised as Shield Agents. Brainac 5 had flown them board the carrier unnoticed at an incredible speed as they came aboard too fast for any human eye to see. Both made their way to the vault as an alarm went off. “Well that was expected. Be ready for action.†Elle said as Brainac nodded in agreement.

 

Boom!

 

Ironman and Thor landed as they looked at the two prepared for action. “So nice disguises but seriously we have defenses to detect superhuman activity. You will excuse me if I skip past the introductions I have a date with a beautiful red head in an hour. Oh hello Elle what do I owe this unpleasant visit from that metahuman hunting company of yours?†Ironman said as music blared from his suit. “How nice the drunken halfway decent metal cladded idiot is gone stand in our way of our goal? Tony me and my friend here need the cosmic cube. You and your boy band are causing some big cosmic problems beyond belief and this gives me the perfect excuse to turn finally turn the Company’s eyes toward Shield along with the Avengers. My friend here came from another world and he isn’t leaving without that cube. So step aside with that God of yours and I will be happy to take the cube without having to bruise that ego of yours. Elle said as she prepared for battle. “Before anybody does anything and hurts innocent lives.†Thor’s hammer lit as it transported everyone to a clear area in Manhattan New York where there were no civilians. “Now we can do battle. Clearly neither side wants to hear the other out. We the Avengers will not hand over the cube to someone we don’t know or trust. You are foolish to think you can take it from us or even defeat a God of Asgard mortal.†Thor said as he prepared for battle. Brainac sighed as he shook his head in disbelief. “I see no matter where I go foolish and arrogant superheroes will always exist. At least my heroes are now smarter and not arrogant like these ones over here. “Brainac without a world lit his eyes up as a blast of heat vision hit Thor in the chest as it sent him flying into the air. Brainac shot toward Thor as he flew to battle him and the two men exchanged punches as they flew in the air. “Spiderman handle Elle. I’ll help Thor out with super boy band up there. Ironman flew up as Thor was knocked back with super breath as he crashed into Ironman as they both tumbled in the air. Brainac 5 and the two Avengers flew high up in the air away from each other as both sides looked at the other preparing to attack. “Spiderman? I didn’t see…†Elle was cut off as a web grabbed her from behind as sent her flying backwards as she slammed into a car. Lucky she had created an electric force field behind her to cushion the impact. Elle got up annoyed. “Seriously no teenage going through puberty still is going to defeat me. “ Elle lit up with electricity as angry. Both teams were about to start the real battle.

 

The fight for the cosmic cube begins.

Oh I forgot to mention win by any means possible for both teams. No killing for either side. Enjoy.

 

 

Edit: Brainac has the same abilities of Clark. In addition he has shapeshifting and his other Brainac abilities he displayed on the show. To judge his kryptonian power level we will say he is as powerful as Clark was in Season 7.

IMO, Braniac is a good match for Thor, but the team of Thor and Iron Man will bee too much for him. Elle is one pof the most aggressive characters on Heroes, but Spiderman has faced villains with more powerful versions of her powers (Electro for one) and has won.

 

IMO, both Smallville and Heros had flawed presentations of superpowered combat. Both shows always gave me the impression that the characters were much less powerful than I thought they should be. IMO the Marvel movies have done a much better job conveying this.

Not true the Smallville versions are very close to there comic book counterparts. Smallville had alot of great superpowered action and special effects for a tv show. Heroes is the one that lacked in showing superpowered combat. Smallville did what it could with the budget it had and they worked miracles with it. Smallville won awards which shows you how good it was.

I should have said before, this is a fun write up you did for the match. I'm really interested in seeing this arc progress.

I may be being unfair to Smallville because of the budget. I'm afraid I didn't like the show as well as you did.

Yep, that's what I meant. I think that Spiderman from the Amazing Spiderman movie will beat Elle and Thor and Iron Man from the Avengers movie will beat Braniac 5. IMO, Thor and Iron Man will have the harder struggle, but their combines power, and Tony's genius, will carry the day. It's close enough that it could go the other way, but I doubt it will.

Smallville and Heroes were good shows but fight scenes always seemed anti-climactic. The focus was more on drama and they both did so well enough despite the occasional plot hole. Although for the last couple of seasons of Smallville it seemed like the characters could never shut up about whatever philosophical issues they were dealing with. Now I like philosophy and talking a lot was always part of that show but by the last season It had dropped all subdlety and gotten downright irritating.

The marvel cinematic universe has really struck a balance between character drama and action.

For the match itself the Elle and B5 are outmatched but they will put up a good fight. Though this Spider-man hasnt fought Electro yet she always seemed like a more watered down version of him anyway. In terms of power I mean, her character I liked. Brainiac would have his hands full with either Tony or Thor but together he's getting recycled.
