Guest force_echo
Adam Jensen with fully unlocked augmentations vs. Master Chief. Dark area with plenty cover. Master Chief is not wearing Mjolnir. Both combatants have a standard Halo Assault Rifle. Medium range- think a large warehouse.
Guest Ruinus
I think it might go badly for the guy who can't turn invisible, see through walls and has a built in radar in his head. Jensen also, if I remember, has built in armor. Hell, under certain conditions Jensen could probably kill MC even if he had the MJOLNIR armor, seeing as his pistol rounds could just teleport past his armor. Guest force_echo
Hmm. Alright. We'll change things up a little bit. Master Chief has Mjolnir. Still takes place in the dark. Just curious, where are you getting that the pistol rounds in Deus Ex teleport?
Guest Ruinus
Well, with his armor on MC wins easily, seeing as how the MA5B assault rilfes aren't going to be hurting him at all through the shields and armor. Again though, if Jenson had his upgraded pistol then... teleporting bullets to the face.
Guest force_echo
Is that what the armor piercing mod in Deus Ex does? Teleport the bullet past the armor?
Guest Ruinus
Is that what the armor piercing mod in Deus Ex does? Teleport the bullet past the armor? Some shit like that. The Quantum-Tunneling armor-piercing system ionizes a weapon's projectiles, allowing them to penetrate most armor types before reverting and causing massive damage. The effect is limited and will not allow penetration through walls and such. I just realized how nonsensical the description is. It's called a Quantum Tunneling but it says it ionizes the bullet... which somehow makes it "revert".
Guest sirmethos
Just accept it as yet another company that has a mutual restraining order with Physics, and suspend disbelief.
Guest force_echo
I mean, technically, quantum tunneling only happens at barriers of 1-3 nm or less, so unless that armor is ridiculously thin, scientifically it wouldn't work, but hey, it's a video game I guess (though the Deus Ex franchise does have some pretty good science behind it). What if I give Jensen the plasma rifle from Deus Ex? That should be able to hurt MC significantly, since it's a canon fact that his shields are weaker against plasma weapons, and his armor is made of metal. Super strong metal, but metal (why everything the UNSC makes is made of the one material you don't want to use against plasma weapons in the Halo Universe is beyond me, but whatever). AVP vs The Terminator
With the plasma rifle, I'd give it to Jensen after a tough fight. Chief is more than likely a bit stronger, faster and more durable than him with Mjolnir, but Jensen is more versatile with his various augmentations. I wonder if the fully upgraded hacking module could do anything to Chief's armour? Probably not, I guess.
Guest a guy
Cheif comes from the Halo Universe (a place where we're beaten conclusivley by aliens and the beruacracy can't pull it's head out of it's ass long enough to create a weapon we can't outshoot with it's modern day equivelent)
