AVP vs The Terminator
Actually it's stated in all his bios that he is invulnerable especially to physical harm. LINK. And there're still the many, many showings that prove otherwise, so...

That arc was him at his true self Yes he was....^^^^Last panel tells it all. It was SEVEN gods that empowered Teth in the later issues of 52 (WWIII). That scan is from the third page of issue 46. xLEGACYx
He was not further empowered by them. He was given permission by his gods to seek vengeance on those who killed his wife. His only power up was reabsorbing the power shared to Isis and osiris

His only power up was reabsorbing the power shared to Isis and osiris Yeah it was related to Isis. I don't know if Isis was a goddess herself or was empowered by one, but it's either one of those. Hence the lighting strike you see hitting Teth after she dies in his hands in #44. How else could he go toe to toe with every Justice League member? Superman and Marvel already gives him a tough right. And they hold back.

xLEGACYx
When you read the entire graphic novel it shows when Isis' power was returning to Adam when she died. Same with Osiris. That is how he knew she died before actually seeing her.
AVP vs The Terminator
No, DC Wiki and Wikipedia actually provide specific sources for their claims, while Comicvine is just stuff thrown up by random comic readers.
Guest force_echo
The argument that just because you can't see visible damage on the outside means that BA didn't sustain any damage is stupid. Rarely in any comic fights do you see that kind of thing happening. Also, the lack of visible marks says nothing about any internal damage he could have sustained. When you twist an ankle, immediately, there's no outside indication. Also, BA has gotten physically hurt by the likes of Martian Manhunter, Superman, Power Girl, Captain Marvel, etc. so the claim that he's invulnerable to blunt force like punches doesn't hold much weight either. Guest Dinsdale Piranha
I think the modern presentation of Black Adam and Captain Marvel trace back to the 70's and perhaps earlier. This is from SHAZAM 18 in 1976. Things have changed with the several reboots since them, but the original versions had a higher level of invulnerability than of strength. The impression I always had was that they were about equal to superman in strength but that it was harder to hurt them, at least by hitting them with solid objects. It sounds like some of this has carried over to the present.
AVP vs The Terminator
But there's no real evidence of this in the present. Characters were far more powerful prior to Crisis, after all.

Guest The Mad Hatter
All of this assumes that Zod is equal to Prime in power. He isn't. And he stands no chance against Black Adam. To beat Black Adam, you need a highly powerful character. A god (and a really powerful god, not a wimpy low-powered god), a really powerful wizard, a reality warper, someone on a cosmic level or with an incredibly powerful superpower. Zod is just not powerful enough to beat Black Adam. The only way he could win is if he had an upgrade, like the Infinity Gems or the One Ring or the Cosmic Cube. That is how he knew she died before actually seeing her. Again Black Adam had absorbed the power of a death god and was further amped on power of Isis. I read the novel and I should you a scan where it explains how he was powered. There is a good reason why people separate World War 3 feats with others.
