Rumble 13276 Dante vs. Doctor Doom

So Doom was chillin with Dormammu in the astral plane and he got thirsty. Dormammu says they got real good soda in this one dimension I know. You should check it out. Doom is like, "sounds good." He says, "I'll pick it up. Send me." and Dormammu teleports him to the Devil May Cry universe. Dormammu smiles, "never thought I'd get rid of that guy. I hope Dante kills him."

 

Doom pops up in front of Dante and takes his six pack from him. "Doom's soda now. Beam me up Dormammu." No answer. He calls again. No answer. Dante looks at him sideways. "Okay, you're effin dead."

I don't know a whole lot about DMC, but from what I've heard thus far on the forums, this is a stomp match. As in, Dante gets destroyed.

Well, Dante is far faster, physically stronger, and he's completely invulnerable to harm while in his Devil Trigger form... Plus, he has Yamato, an overpowered weapon that'd eviscerate Doom.

Knowing Video Games, there's probably some limit on this Devil Trigger ability, meaning that while he's not in it, Doom will destroy him with pure offensive capability. I mean, this is all going off of a debate I read between Spider-Man and Dante.

Nothing actually prevents him from doing the same to Doom with Yamato as that thing literally rends time and space apart wherever it slices - i.e. Primary Adamantium would be cut apart by it.

 

And since Dante seems pissed, that might happen quickly lol considering his super speed.

I'd say Doom would have a great chance of winning if he was either

A) expecting a fight

Dante toyed with him too much.

 

But considering Dante is pissed, has Yamato, and Doom has no way of knowing how serious a threat Dante is and wasn't prepared for a fight, Dante probably wins once he busts out Yamato or is forced into Majin Form.

 

Edit: Of course this all depends on how late or early (chronologically) in the series we're taking Dante from.

Dante from the latest form with whatever his typical arsenal would be. Surprising answers. Now I'm wondering if people think Dante could take the FF, because Doom has held off the FF before singlehandedly.

Just because it cuts space and time doesn't mean it could cut through a magical barrier.

iirc it's the only thing shown capable of damaging the Devil Trigger, which is supposed to be invincible, and people have used it as means of teleporation.

So yeah, more than likely, it will cut through the magical barrier

 

Considering Dante's immense speed and power in conjunction with the Yamato, plus his being pissed, Doom doesn't really stand a chance.

doom has beat far worse with just his armor and not much prep doom hits him with a powerful holding spell that keeps him from moving then takes his new sword and soda and leaves.

Before Doom could utter the worlds for a holding spell he gets his head cut off with Dante's speed.

he does not have to speak to cast it and even if he did he has a force field that is up almost at all time that can take punches from the thing and the hulk so i doubt that.

THe barrier is meaningless - Yamato will cut through it easily and Doom's neck...

And it damaging the Devil Trigger has something to do with Doom's magical barrier how?

 

And in the Predator Universe plasma dlex is stated to be invincible. But just like plasma dlex, it's universe relative. Plasma Dlex has never had to withstand a blow from Thor. Also, how fast is Dante?

A magical barrier is not affected by the fact that his sword can cut through time and space, because magic is warping space time itself. \

 

That's it? Doom has beaten Spider-Man, who can move faster than the eye can see. Also, he can slow down time? Woah! That's totally something Doom can't do on a whim! I guess he takes this.

 

Doom has a thousand ways to insta-kill Dante. He takes this.
