Guest Dinsdale Piranha
Princess Diana was addressing the United Nations when the doors burst open. Namor the First, King of Atlantis strode in swatting the Marine guards away like flies. Moving to the podium, Namor snatched the microphone away from Diana and began to rail at the assembly for the crimes of humanity against his people. DIANA: Namor, stop! We're here to talk about peaceful resolutions. Surely, if you present you concerns through the proper chanels-- NAMOR: Do you think me a fool, woman? I have no time for the etiquette and protocol of the surface-dwellers. They will address my concerns right now, or face my wrath. Imperious Rex! DIANA: You're being as unreasonable as the worst of the surface people, Namor. Why don't you identify the nations you have the strongest grievances with and we can arrange a special meeting. NAMOR: My realm has suffered enough at the hands of the humans; I will not wait another day; nay, not even another hour. DIANA: I respect your passion, but... NAMOR: No more of your platitudes, woman. I demand an answer from this assembly. DIANA: ...but you're just being childish. NAMOR: You dare speak thus to a prince of the blood? (he pimp-slaps Wonder Woman across the dais) Diana rises slowly and wipes a small trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth and smiles. DIANA: This is how I speak to a "prince of the blood." (with a flying charge she slams Namor through the wall and out of the building. The two face each other with anger in their eyes, then lunge. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Namor is fresh from the water and at full strength. They are fighting close to the ocean. Wonder Woman is the post-Crisis version from the George Perez days.

Guest Darxeth
Wonder Woman wins. She's smarter and more experienced.

C.T.
Diana isn't more experienced. That said, all the rest is true...it'd be a good fight if Wondy kept it honorable.
Guest bigballerju
Namor is more experienced then Wonder Woman in battle? Edit: Thats what I was refering to.
Guest Darxeth
She is more skilled at fighting.
Guest bigballerju
That's what I thought. If he is talking anything else I believe it's still Wonder Woman. She has fought as well as defeated Olympian Gods, defeated Captain Marvel, fought Superman, defeated Darkseid's Furies, and more. Diana has been trained in battle since birth. Guest Dinsdale Piranha
Check out the Namor thread. I agree that WW is faster and more skilled, but it's a narrower margin than you might expect.
Guest skadoosh
Wonder Woman is physically superior and more skilled, but she's neither ore ruthless or experienced, i think. She still wins, though.
AVP vs The Terminator
Wonder Woman is faster, more skilled and more durable. Namor is arguably physically stronger and more experienced. It's a pretty even match all in all. Diana will win if the battle remains on land, but if Namor takes it to the sea, he's got it in the bag. C.T.
She is probably more skilled. Namor has had some training however, he's no slouch. Namor has also fought(occasionally defeating) gods, Olympians, Norse, and allies of theirs just as powerful. He could be considered partially Demi-god himself, not sure how the Atlanteans/Poseidon relationship works, seems to change from writer to writer. In any case, he's older than Diana, unless I missed a retcon or something, which is probable. Last I recall, she was born in the later part of the 20th century, whereas Namor was born in the early half circa 1920. Diana, Princess of the Amazons got some very good training. Namor, Prince(now king) of the Atlanteans surely got some training himself. Probably not as good but still. Wonder Woman is faster, strength I think is comparable, stamina dunno, it seems to me to be about even except Namor can just recharge instantly if he gets a chance. Namor's abilities of taking traits of sea creatures would also be helpful. Plus his healing factor too...
Guest skadoosh
Namor hasn't done half of what Wonder Woman has physically.
AVP vs The Terminator
Actually, he has. Mainly through combat with other characters. While on land, and fully hydrated, he was shown to be dead even with Hercules, who I'd wager is physically stronger than Diana. He also knocked out Beta Ray Bill with one punch after it started raining. One.
C.T.
That's cause Marvel doesn't go in your face with ridiculous strength feats that spit on physics, such as pulling a third of the planet(at least not anymore) So we can't compare those two in terms of physical feats. What we can do is compare their track record against some of the most physically powerful beings of their respective Earths. Holding their own in battles with Superman, Sentry, Thor, and others. Guest skadoosh
They are superhero comics, logic is not a priority for them, and as silly as they are we can't just ignore those feats. Wonder Woman pulled a third of the Earth, Namor has not, i don't see how he could beat her physically.
AVP vs The Terminator
Again: equal to Hercules while fully hydrated. And Hercules has strength feats that put Diana's to shame. It's also been established several times that Hercules is stronger than Thor.
C.T.
This is why comparing with track records in fights is a better idea. For example, let's use Robert Reynolds. The Sentry, a molecular manipulator. We haven't seen him rival Pre retcon Beyonder in an amazing duel, so we can't say that he can. What we have seen him do is destroy Molecule Man in a battle, thus showing the extent of his capabilities in that regard. So back to Namor. We haven't seen him pull a 1/3 of the planet(for starters, think he'd have trouble finding a rope big enough) but what we have seen is him throwing around and slamming heavy ships and slugging it out with practically a lot of the strongest people on the planet if not more. Thor, Beta Ray Bill, Hulk, She-Hulk, Sentry, Thing, Wonder Man, Hercules etc.
Guest Darxeth
In this set-up, WW knows he's from the Sea, and would definitely not be tricked or allow herself to be put into a position where she had to face him underwater. (If she was smart, anyway) She's faster and she's more skilled in h2h. Sure, Namor is skilled in h2h, but compared to WW it really doesn't matter. She's also the smarter combatant.Namor, especially in this set-up, seems very impulsive, which doesn't bode well for him at all. I believe WW would win this fight, but not easily by any means. C.T.
They're fighting next to the ocean and Namor started off at 100%, it's not inconceivable for Namor to punch Wonder Woman aside, fly into the water, fly out and continue, or lead the fight underwater. If she's unwilling to follow him down there, then they're at a stalemate because of lack of ranged attacks.
AVP vs The Terminator
It wouldn't be a stalemate in that case, it'd be a victory for WW due to Namor running away.
Guest force_echo
I agree Namor's probably stronger, but Diana is FAR faster. She's also a lot more skilled.
