Wonder Woman is physically superior... (snip)

While this seems to be true now, I don't think that was the case for the version of Wonder Woman I designated.

Wonder Woman would beat Namor in water as well. Going into the water won't help him here. Wonder Woman has defeated more powerful opponents and fought people stronger then what Namor is underwater.

I disagree. It certainly will help him. He can pull off a win if he leads the fight there. So could she. It can go either way.

Wonder Woman is a hard character to pin down power-wise. In some pre-crisis stories she was only slightly above peak-human. In this issue a team of assassins consisting of a kung-fu master, a Deadshot wannabe, and an evil lumberjack.

More recent versions can (more or less.) New 52 Wonder Woman is apparantly nearly as strong as Superman and much stronger when she goes berserk. Namor would stomp one of those extremes and be stomped by the other so I chose a different version (coincidentally my favorite.)

In the early days of Wonder Woman Vil 2, with George Perez at the helm, Wonder Woman was not quite as strong as DC's Heracles, but was more skilled. She was outmatched in power by Ares, but managed to beat him.

Namor is slightly less powerful than Marvel's Hercules, but more skilled. He has beaten Marvel's Ares several times (Marvel's version may be less powerful than DC's.)

Namor is bulletproof, Wonder Woman is not. Wonder Woman's bullet-deflecting reflexes are better than Namor's.

The Perez Wonder Woman is similar in power level to the Bruce Timm version, and there was actually a version of this battle on Justice League. In "The Terror Beyond" the League has to deal with Dr. Fate, Solomon Grundy, and Aquaman. They are standing in for the original Defenders and their personalities and powers are subtly changed so they seem more like Dr, Strange, Hulk, and Namor.

Here's how the Wonder Woman vs. Aquaman/Namor fight went.

You know, even Namor vs current Wondie would be an even fight IMO. Like I said, he's actually dead even with Hercules in terms of strength (while fully hydrated on land-- in water, Namor has an obvious edge, and when Namor isn't fully hydrated, Hercules is stronger), which pretty much means that he's superior to Wonder Woman in terms of strength, no matter how you look at it. Hercules is stronger than Thor as far as raw strength goes, and Thor has strength feats that far outshine Wonder Woman's.

I'm having a hard time believing that Namor could pull off everything Wonder Woman has, physically, but being equal to Hercules obviously means he can tangle with her in a fight, which i agree with. But if Namor's strength decreases throughout their fight, providing they stay out of the water, then Wonder Woman will eventually have the edge, and it wont take long, considering how strong she is.

It seems to depend.

That would be true... but a quick jump into the sea would fix that.

He doesn't need to as it is. He's fully hydrated right now...and depending on the suit he's wearing will continue to be fully hydrated long enough to fight for hours. I know his black suit allows him to stay wet and at full strength for a longer period of time. As it is, if he needs to, he can punch her away and recharge quickly. I doubt he needs to though.

I don't recall anyone saying this would be easy. And Wonder Woman isn't that much faster than Namor in this scenario-- FTL travel (or anything approaching that) means nothing while she's in Earth's atmosphere. I don't think she's ever displayed any particularly impressive combat speed feats, either. I think she'd need to fly in one direction for a bit and build up her speed to reach that kind of velocity, like Superman. Neither can go around throwing FTL punches or anything like that.

Wonder Woman is skilled enough to deflect most of Namor's punches and counter successfully. I don't see Namor winning unless he swallows his pride (which is a long-shot) and flees into the water with her. (Which is also a long-shot)

Wonder Woman 5/10

Namor 2/10

Draw 3/10

Superman has easily caught photons before in atmosphere. Wonder woman is faster. Don't know about George Perez version though.
