Guest skadoosh
Aang, from the Avatar: The Last Airbender tv series vs The Avengers, film version, consisting of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye They are fighting in the Eastern side of New York. There are many civilians around. All of their respective morals are on. Aang has his glider and full control over all four elements but no Avatar State. The Avengers all have their standard respective gear but no help from SHIELD. Their objective is to capture Aang alive and only take him out if he gets too dangerous. Aang's objective is to get to the top of the Statue Of Liberty, where a portal is waiting to take him back to his own dimension, and not get caught while doing so. The fight will go on for as long as it has to. Opinions?

Guest bigballerju
Movie versions are powerful enough to capture Aang with ease. LOL you took away Aang's Avatar State? There is nothing to stop Thor or Hulk from smashing him into the ground.
Guest tomisntblue
With morals, and I'm assuming personality on, Aang wins. True, he would get slaughtered in a fight against Ironman, Thor, or Hulk. But Aang isn't out out hurt anyone. Plus he'll try and talk before fighting, and while fighting. Eventually they'll see that Aang is just an innocent (13?) year old kid trying to return home. He'd get home, because the Avengers would end up helping him. Guest skadoosh
thor ironman or hulk solos. Movie versions are powerful enough to capture Aang with ease. LOL you took away Aang's Avatar State? There is nothing to stop Thor or Hulk from smashing him into the ground. Aang isn't trying to fight and the Avengers aren't trying to kill him, so it wont be that simple. So, firstly, there's this - With morals, and I'm assuming personality on, Aang wins. True, he would get slaughtered in a fight against Ironman, Thor, or Hulk. But Aang isn't out out hurt anyone. How will they handle his elemental powers, especially seeing as he has full control over them? Etc.
Guest bigballerju
None of Aang's attacks would put down Thor or Hulk. Setup doesn't say they would help him.
Guest tomisntblue
None of Aang's attacks would put down Thor or Hulk. Setup doesn't say they would help him. Set up doesn't say that specifically, but it does say they're in character. And if you think in character means that they'll try and stop a 13 year old kid from returning home, or won't first try and talk him down down, then we're talking about completely different characters. The set up might not say it, but the fact that thy're super heroes and are in character, means that they will help him. then there's some questions. How do you expect the Avengers to get their hands on the slippery and extremely skilled Aang? How will they handle his elemental powers, especially seeing as he has full control over them? Etc. Aang can't do anything to seriously hurt Iron Man, Hulk, or Thor. Even if he traps them in Earth, they could more than likely break out. The Avengers would use, team work and diversion tactics. And even if that doesn't work, Aang will tire way before Captain America, Hulk, Thor, or Iron Man. BUT, like I said, none of that matters because they end up letting Aang return home, because, like I said, they'll see he's just an innocent kid. Indolent
I'm fairly certain Iron Man with an aimed nonlethal repulsor blast would knock Aang out before anything even started.
Guest Dinsdale Piranha
Why are the Avengers trying to catch Aang? I can see this going either way as it's written. Aang takes off on his glider. the Avengers pursue and Iron Man catches him first. He orders Aang down and Aang swoops low, only to bend an earth wall in front of the Avenger. It catches IM by surprise and slows him. Hulk leaps after aang, but some air bending catches him in mid air and hurls him out into the harbor. Thor, seeing the air-bending decided to show Aang that he can do it better. he summons storm winds to bring Aang back to shore. Aand folds up his glider and dives into the ocean, then uses water bending to heat toward Liberty island. Iron man catches him and orders him to stand down. Aang uses water bending to such him under. Captain America is on the island as Aang comes ashore. Aang unfurls the glider and starts up but Cap's shield shatters one of the wings. Aand tries to use metal bending on the shield but it resists him. the other three Avengers catch up at this point and Aang realizes the jig is up. The Avengers demand to know what's going on and he tells them. Iron man gives him a lift to the portal and sees him safely through. Everybody wins. Fair points about Aang not really being able to harm some of the Avengers, but like i said, he's not trying to fight them, just run away from them. I'm fairly certain Iron Man with an aimed nonlethal repulsor blast would knock Aang out before anything even started. Possibly, but Aang has dodged many a thing before. Why are the Avengers trying to catch Aang? Because i said so. It's a Rumble, no explanation is needed. I can see this going either way as it's written. Probably the most likely outcome, actually.
Indolent
Except the repulsor would be faster than most things Aang's evaded not to mention an autotracking system within his targeting to make sure the second shot would actually land if the first somehow misses. I was thinking that myself, but surely some of the fire and lightening attacks moved similarly fast? Aang can distract and evade like a boss, anyway. Also, would Iron Man just up and shoot a kid with a laser?
