comic_book_fan
how reed richards could make something from scrap metal that was able to take down Doom when he had the powers of aron the rogue and that was with just a few minutes of work while sue protected him he will have alot more time because it will take ba some time to fight his way through the others while professor x and strange are messing with him the whole time and ironman help reed and black bolt and namor keep him busy in the hand to hand department they have to many bases covered thay will find something that will effectivly bring adam down. Guest bigballerju
Standard Black Adam would get his mind f**ked around with by Charles Xavier while at the same time going deaf because of Black Bolt's voice and getting his ass kicked by Namor along with Ironman in his bleeding edge armor. Strange and Reed sit back as they chat about there woman problems. Strange tells Reed to stop being a geek and pay attention to his hot wife or someone else will while Reed tells Strange stopping being such a cheating ass when it comes to women. The gang then ships him off into another universe by himself with no life or into the negative zone.
Guest skadoosh
None of them can physically hurt them. Strange would have the best chance of doing anything. For the entire dc earth heroes to beat him, it took cap marvel to change his magic word and even then it was VERY difficult and Cap Marvel knows everything about Adam Decent point, but the DCU didn't have it's three biggest guns at that point. Also, the Illuminati are incredibly powerful and very versatile. Well yes if they have the gems it's a relative stomp Obviously no Gems. Black Adam should win this. Care to give specifics? how reed richards could make something from scrap metal that was able to take down Doom when he had the powers of aron the rogue and that was with just a few minutes of work while sue protected him he will have alot more time because it will take ba some time to fight his way through the others while professor x and strange are messing with him the whole time and ironman help reed and black bolt and namor keep him busy in the hand to hand department they have to many bases covered thay will find something that will effectivly bring adam down. However, Adam's virtually physically un-harmable body will be very difficult to put down in a straight up fight of any kind, so it will take all the psychic, technological and magical abilities the Illuminati have to do so. xLEGACYx
My biggest reason I believe Adam wins is a couple of factors. 1. Hulk beat the entire illuminati relatively easily.2. They knew all about Hulk and he made them look stupid.3. We can all pretty much be sure that Black Adam can destroy Hulk.4. Adam has the strength, speed, and skills to surpass Hulk5. Adam also has divine knowledge and the magic power of the gods. So in the end, the illuminati are facing a more powerful, faster, more extensive powered, more ruthless and smarter opponent. C.T.
You said they could go back and get equipment if necessary. That means the gems. And only Namor needs to do that, to get the power gem and beat on Black Adam's face for stealing his look. Even if he doesn't get the gem, he can still put up a decent fight. Just have Namor punch him through a building, Bolt whisper in his ear, Xavier mess with his head, Stark hit him with some power inhibitors, Reed hit him with a frying pan, and Strange transports the now unconscious, temporarily powerless Black Adam into the Negative Zone or something. kainboa
One thing that most people seem to be forgetting, is that Black Adam is capable of fighting at superspeed, something that none of the Illuminati are. And since he's just trying to kill everybody, he's likely to use his full physical power in each strike, rather than holding back in order to reduce the amount of casualties, which means that unless the Illuminati members are capable of withstanding the amount of physical damage that multiple strikes of a Superman level being will inflict on them, they will be turned into a fine red mist before they even know what's hitting them
C.T.
Well if Namor's at his peak he should be able to take a few, and since Iron Man is in his bleeding edge armor, with his shields and regenerative capabilities should be able to take just as much, if not more. Strange isn't Sorceror Supreme, so he probably doesn't have that nifty automatic attack thing when someone is attempting to blitz him...Bolt I dunno, if he produces at least one sound during that attack could help, unlikely though. And Reed and Charles have no defense against that...still though, if Namor and Iron Man survive, just attempt to hit him with some power inhibitors or those anti-matter bullets I've heard so much about. Of course, someone has to be holding Adam in place for that, surely Namor at his peak can do it for the few seconds it would take? Eh I may be biased in our favor, hehe. Guest The Mad Hatter
As for the fight, given that Strange is NOT in his "Sorcerer Supreme" levels, Black Adam wins with relative ease. You need high-end level characters in order to beat Black Adam, so Strange as Sorcerer Supreme would be the only one on that team that could stand a chance againat Adam. Guest Dinsdale Piranha
Here's a question: would the real-life Illuminati be allowed to be added to the database? If by "real life" you mean the historical Bavarian Illuminati, you've got a small and interesting secret soceity of 18th century European noblemen. If you want to go for the sinister and incredibly secret world-wide conspiracy that controls everything from behind the scenes, you're not dealing with real life. The Illuminati make great villains. They are the powers that be in Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea's ILLUMINATUS TRILOGY (a seriously weird read), in Dan Brown's ANGELS AND DEMONS, and in the "Gargoyles" animated show. They show up more in the comics that follow the series and we learn that Xanatos and Thailos are both low ranking members. Looking at the summmaries, I have a theory that Greg Weisman was going to interweave the Illuminati and King Arthur storylines and probably introduce the Holy Grail. Anyway, adding them sounds like a good idea.
AVP vs The Terminator
Legacy, Hulk took out a Black Bolt Skrull. Far weaker than the real thing. And I think we both know that Hull was wanked to hell in WWH, anyway. Bolt is physically strong enough to overpower Gladiator, so he can go toe to toe with Adam in that department, you're right about speed though. Bolt probably won't use his voice though, since he'd kill all his teammates... Considering what a whisper did to Apocalypse, though, I'd imagine a scream would put Adam down. He doesn't seem a whole lot more impressive than Superman durability-wise, at least post-crisis. Edit: Bolt could take shots from Adam, having traded blows with the likes of Thor, Hulk and the aforementioned Gladiator.

AVP vs The Terminator
Don't think he has the feats to back that, and they've been regarded as equals every time they've fought.
The Void
It usually takes Superman and Captain Marvel to take on Black Adam. But IDK...I know Black Adam is definitely stronger than Black Bolt and can move faster before Black Bolt can even make a sound.
AVP vs The Terminator
Black Bolt overpowering a relatively confident Gladiator in War of Kings would suggest otherwise as far as strength is concerned.
Indolent
...I thought that was due to like downing his confidence in the process.

With consitant writing Black Bolt shouldn't even physically match Gladiator. I have not even seen Black Bolt exeed past 60 tons. And anyways Gladiator has not even shown he is own Supermans level let only Black Adams.
Guest bigballerju
Gladiator at 100% confidence fought Thor, Quasar, and Wonder Man at the same time by himself. He has beaten Emperor Vulcan and more. At 100% confident he is close to Superman when Superman is holding back. Standard Black Adam can be hurt and it has been shown that. Powergirl, Jay Garrick, and other heroes have managed to hurt him. Namor at 100% and at his highest would be a good distraction. I already described above one way they could take down a standard Black Adam.
C.T.
Yeah Bolt was a Skrull in World War Hulk and Namor wasn't attacked in it because he valued Hulk as a friend and was smart enough to not piss him off. So yeah, not the entire illuminati was beaten.

He lost to Thor and IIRC the first time they fought Thor didn't even have his hammer, Quasar is not physically as sttronger than Black Adam, Wonder Man is not even close to Supes or Black Adam. He had trouble with Jay because Jay was faster than him, but I remember Adam landing a blow on him. Power Girl like like most Kryptonians are godlike strong and Power Girl> Wonder Man, Quasar and Vulcan in terms of physical superiority. Black Adam on the other hand has took on Superman and Captain Marvel at the same time, IIRC beat Green Lantern and took on the JSA by himself. And I believe someone stated that Gladiators confidence was downed when he fought Black Bolt.

The Void
Wonder Man? The guy who laid out Thor once? Not even close to Supes? Dunno about that. Wonder Man is not even on the same level as he was in his classic days...Count Nefaria back in the classsic Avenger days could take on the Avengers with Thor included, now he's been nerfed and I doubt Wonder Man or Count Nefaria could match Thor physically right now.
