I'm not entirely sure. To me when I hear "a galaxy was destroyed" I think of nothingness. Idk, kind of hard to imagine what a destroyed galaxy would look like. If not, I don't think we'd see a SS4 Gojeta, more likely an SS3, but it seems that it will be Goku vs Bills for the final showdown in space. And how would that make him a galaxy buster? Got it from the DBZ wiki, but apparently they are taking Piccolo's statement of him being a galaxy buster, could be hyperbole. We won't know for sure till it comes out. Apart from reiterating my statement about the wikia as a source of information... 2 problems with that. 1. It's a statement from a random character. If that is taken as fact, then I'm assuming that I can look forward to seeing DBZ fans argue that Sentry has stalemated Galactus, in future debates. 2. In order to take that statement for reliable, solid information. We would have to assume that Piccolo A. Has enough information about Bills,to make accurate statements about his power. and B. Actually knows enough, to be able to say how much power it would take to "bust" a galaxy. As far as galaxy busting goes in DBZ.....They said Broly destroyed the south galaxy, but I'm pretty sure he did it planet by planet. Kid Buu was another that did it planet by planet, so I'm assuming it'll be the same for Bills. No, they really didn't. The only actual facts we have about Bills' power are: 1. He is more powerful than Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu. 2. That "once his wrath is incurred, he will destroy nearby planets and life, and is a being feared even by Kaio(s) and Kaioshin(s)." 3. That he is "the strongest being in the history of Z" 4. He "usually uses his power to destroy planets." 5. He is "the most feared of all the gods." And 6. That his role in the universe, is to maintain the balance, by destroying planets so that new ones can be created. Now, I may just be blind, but I see absolutely nothing, in any of that, that puts him at anywhere near "galaxy buster" level. Planet buster, definitely. Even multi-planet buster. I'd even go as far as saying Solar System-buster. I would even be willing to add a little Suspension of Disbelief, and say Multi-Solar System Buster. No, they really didn't.Wiki may not be reliable(although it has never lead me astray), but that is why you check the sources at the end of the page. Kami is a part of Piccolo, who knows a lot when it comes to the gods of the DBZ universe. Without ever meeting the Supreme Kai before, Piccolo knew who he was without the kai introducing himself. I'm not saying Piccolo is correct, but he is the most credible of all DBZ characters. We'll have to wait and see. The narrator states "The south galaxy has been shattered by a super saiyan", followed by King Kai saying "it's all gone". We are shown the south galaxy, then it crumbles away. I'm not saying Broly is a galaxy buster, but it seemed implied to me that he was, but he isn't. Goku travels to the south galaxy to track him. This is a moot point anyway, it's not relevant to Bills. That wasn't suppose to indicate that he is one, I just stated it. Also I was the one who even stated for a galaxy to be destroyed all the stars has destroyed. And it is followed by King Kai saying "T-then, the southern galaxy really is being...", "it's gone." is just another bad dub translation. Nothing about "galaxy busting" is even remotely implied. You'd think(and this is not specifically addressed at anyone here. just saying) that people who claim to be fans of Dragonball, would respect Toriyama and his work, enough to make sure they have the right information.(a 'minor' pet peeve of mine) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
