CURRENT CHAPTER

 

Itachi turned to throw a kunai at Darth Maul, but he was already on the move. Itachi knew the abilities of the symbiote and knew it had a six sense similar to precognition. As he stood in the center of the construction site, he searched for Maul in the darkness. Thinking out loud Itachi said, "We'll I guess I finally get what I want. I finally get to kill you." As Itachi walked slowly towards a building that was under construction, it looked as if the shadows were coming alive. A huge black mass moved from the shadows The symbiote had caused Maul to grow in size. Black tendrils shot out from multiple areas. As each one neared, Itachi jumped from surface to surface while using his sword to cut them away. "ITACHI! WE'RE HUNGRY! COME HERE AND LET US HAVE A LITTLE BITE!" Maul said with an eerie tone to his voice. The two assassins launched from pillar to pillar in the darkness. Each throwing a blow or countering respectively. As they emerged from the shadows, back into the center of the construction site. Maul shot a force blast that rocked Itachi. Dust and debris went flying while the impact from the attack sent Itachi sailing through the air into a trailer. Maul lumbered towards the trailer, placing his hands on the torn metal and ripped it further open. He looked inside but to his surprise, Itachi was nowhere to be found.

 

Suddenly a blast of fire swept over Maul from behind. He screamed out in pain as the symbiote screamed in his head. Whirling around, he saw Itachi preparing another fireball. Darth Maul quickly set into motion and closed the gap between them. He reached for Itachi with his oversized hand. As he grabbed hold, Itachi stuck a kunai through his palm. Dropping him, Maul examined his hand. Holding it in front of his face, he licked the wound with his wild tongue. "OH, THATS NOT NICE MY FRIEND! WE'RE GONNA MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT!" As Itachi flipped backwards out of reach, Maul launched a black tendril that snared him. Itachi fell to the ground and began to be dragged back towards Maul. Holding Itachi in front of his face, Maul open his jaws wide. Itachi looked into Maul's eyes with his Genjitsu. Suddenly Itachi could feel the tendrils loosening. His jutsu was beginning to affect Maul but the symbiote was able to suppress it. He was able to get one hand free during Maul's moment of weakness and performed the hand sign for another fireball. Maul took the attack point blank to the face. The symbiote howled in pain. Letting go of Itachi, Maul grabbed his face. The symbiote had receded and the red and black of Maul's actual face could be seen for a moment but in his eyes, only rage could be seen. Maul was not fighting the symbiote. He had decided to embrace the power it offered. It fueled the dark side within him.

 

Itachi was struggling to get to his feet. Darth Maul had already recovered and was once again on the attack. Grabbing Itachi with both hands by the shoulders, he held him in place. "ANY LAST WORDS 'FRIEND'?" Maul asked with a wicked, toothy grin. Itachi struggled against Maul's grip to no avail. A tendril emerged from Maul's back, in it his light saber. One end of the saber ignited. Its crimson glow illuminating the dark construction site. Maul wasted no more time. He plunged the light saber into Itachi's chest. Then, opening his mouth wide, he bite down on the charred body and ripped the top half off. After disposing of the rest of Itachi's body, Darth Maul returned to his ship. Climbing aboard, he activated the controls. The ship shuttered as its engines started up. The blue glow of the engines lit up the construction site briefly before it was off into the distance.

 

The ship arrived hours later back at his master's hidden base. Maul lowered the ship into an opening that appeared from out of nowhere in the sand. Once the ship was inside, it disappeared just as easily. The ramp at the back of the ship lowered as torches began to ignite themselves. A messenger was waiting as Maul exited the ship. He had returned to his normal form, the symbiote in disguise as his black cloak. Striding through the parade of torches, Maul arrived at his master's chamber. The doors opened slowly. His master could be seen sitting quietly on his throne. Maul entered and made his way before his master, kneeling in front of him. In a demonic voice his master said, "Where is Itachi?" Keeping his head bowed, Maul responded; "He did not survive the assassination." The Master stood from his throne. For the first time a light could been seen beneath the cloak. Maul looked up from his kneeling position. The Master angrily yelled, "You are lying to me. My servant witnessed the battle from the shadows. So you lied to me and you brought this abomination into my chamber!" Suddenly the cloak disappeared in a burst of lame. What was left was a demon. Darth Maul jumped back from the site. His light saber in his hands. He knew his master was powerful but had no idea he was something like this. Laughing his master said, "You can't possibly expect to fight me? My name is Dormammu. Nothing you posses, has the ability to harm me. Darth Maul, you have failed me. You have killed your fellow assassin, you have brought back this abomination which I ordered you to destroy, and now you react as if you want to challenge me. You are a major disappointment. You are dispensable." With a wave of his hand, fire erupted from the right of his throne. What was left when it subsided was a figure clad in yellow and black. He looked like some sort of ninja and his eyes looked pale and lifeless. Darth Maul could sense the anger in this new threat. Laughing as he turned his back, Dormammu said "Kill him!" as he disappeared in a swirl of smoke and fire.

 

The ninja drew his swords and gripped them tightly as the muscles in his arms flexed. Then in a burst of fire, he disappeared. A second later he reappeared, falling from the sky. He slashed at Maul and cut through the symbiote. Withdrawing away, he lashed out with black tendrils sharp as blades. The two clashed again and again. Maul was amazed that the ninja could match his attacks blow for blow with such ease. Activating his light saber, Maul swiped at the ninja to no avail. Then again and to his astonishment, the ninja had stopped his light saber with his swords. The two swords his enemy possessed seemed to glow with some sort of magic. Whatever it was, it kept his light saber from cutting through the swords like it would any other metal. While the two assassins pushed back and forth with there blades, Maul noticed something strange. Some sort of serpent began to emerge from his adversaries palm. It shot out and Maul narrowly avoided it. It seemed to almost have a mind of its own. The serpent redirected itself and Maul was forced on the defensive, flipping and dodging as it came for him. Finally the serpent stopped, like it was unable to go any further. Suddenly it retracted back into his enemies hand. They two assassins stepped back into the center of the chamber. Maul held his light saber out in front of him, tendrils whipping around behind him. The ninja stood in a fighting stance with his twin swords in hand. Both knew only one of them would leave the room alive but neither would submit easily to the other.

Some of Maul's Force powers probably wouldn't have any effect on Scorpion, being undead, or something similar, but he can still be thrown around and sliced by a lighstaber. However, i don't think that will be enough to win. Scorpion is very powerful and skilled himself, and has more raw firepower than Maul, i think. They are probably about equal in strength and speed, with Scorpion having a slight speed advantage, but Maul can bridge that gap. Scorpion is probably tougher, but Maul is hard to hit and has the better weapon. This is very close.

The Venom Symbiote means Maul dwarfs Scorpion in terms of strength, speed and durability. His only chance at winning is his hellfire-based powers.

And that Hellfire could very possibly win it for him. They're both pretty durable, Maul due to the symbiote and Scorpion due to being a superhuman zombie-type.

If Scorpion can keep his distance long enough to spam his Hellfire and get the symbiote off Maul, he might have a chance. Otherwise, this'll end like Moloch and Drahmin vs Scorpion in MK:DA-He put up a good fight no doubt but he's not walking out of this one.

I love Scorpion but Maul wins this one easily. It says in the setup his force powers have doubled as well in power and the ease it takes to do them because of the symbote. Good setup but Maul is too powerful here for Scorpion.

Another amazing story to an amazing arc! A from me! As for the victor in this match, I can't say I really have a definite answer. I will probably go with Scorpion since he is an undead ninja warrior thing. The battle would be pretty darn awesome to see and it will not be easy for either one.

As tough as Scorpion is, I think that Maul could probably take him even without the Venom enhancement.

Epic setup man, and Maul wins. Mauls wins but not as easily. Scorpion is demon with years and years of experience in fighting. Though Maul trumps him in stength, speed, durablity, etc. Scorpion can use his firepower but the symbiote spider-sense might alert if Scorpion tried a sneak attack, the ninja's best shot would be use his hellfire in a strategy but his magic blades can also block the saber. But eventually Maul is going to win.

Dont forget that with Scorpion...

He can infuse all his punches and kicks with hell fire.

He can rapidly teleport and attack similar to nightcrawler.

He can simply summon hellfire from the ground.

He has his spear attack.

He can breathe fire.

It looks like Scorpion's main advantage is surprise attacks. That's excellent against most foes but someone with spider-sense + enhances Force precognition is going to be almost impossible to catch by surprise.

This will be a tough fight. Since Scorpion is basically a zombie Maul's signature lightning and force choke powers will have no effect on Scorpion so Maul will have to focus on winning this by close combat which they are both experts at. Some things Darth Maul has going for him are the combination of the force premonition and the symbiote's spider sense that will make him hard to hit, and also greatly increased strength from the symbiote. I don't know a lot about moral kombat but from I have learned about Scorpion on the MK wiki I think his hellfire capabilities will give him a really good chance. With him being able to send out hellfire covered kunai spears, teleport, hellfire punch, fire breath, summon hellfire underneath opponents, and also create flames of hellfire all around his body which he can do to make sure the symbiote won't get too close to him he might win. Anyway great story and after a good fight I think Scorpion will take this.

I figured because the typical Zombie can't really feel pain so force lightning wouldn't really be able to affect the zombie through mental pain. The force lightning would probably be able to cause some burns but that wouldn't really halt a zombie because a zombie can just keep on coming despite its physical damage from the lightning which probably wouldn't cause too big of physical damage

What does Raiden's lightning do to Scorpion? I'd suspect that Force lightning would have a similar effect.

 

While zombies don't feel pain they still have a nervous system. Depending on the type of zombie, I suspect a TASER could knock one down by causing his nerves to misfire and his muscles to spasm. Of course, the zombie would get right back up.

 

Natural lightning would have a much stronger effect, in addition to the current, it's a very brief exposure to an extremely high temperature. The way lightning splits trees is by superheating sap or water causing it to expand into steam in a fraction of a second, creating an explosion. This could happen in a zombie's body if Force lightning is similar to natural lightning.

 

If, as you seem to suggest, Force lightning is something like a psychic attack, I don't think Scorpion's zombie nature would protect from it. Scorpion's not mindless; he has the ability to talk, to plan, etc. Attacks on his mind/psyche should work on him.

 

If Force lightning is an attack on the mind and Scorpion is mindless, it probably wouldn't work on him. Of course, if he's mindless, I'd also expect Maul to be able to use his Sith mind tricks to control him.

Yah I'd assume it would it would have a similar effect and would stun him like you said a powerful enough tazer would. Yah I've never played MK before so i didn't know about that electric attack. I'm just looking off the MK wiki for information on Scorpion and whatever else.

force lightning is actually an energy based attack that hurls bolts of electricity form the wielder's fingertips of palms so I don't think its really like natural lightning.

I'm not saying it's a mental attack I was just saying it would cause pain, which is a mental feeling, and since the typical zombie lacks the ability to feel pain it would only be stunned and maybe have some charred flesh from the electricity running through it. It would however get up afterwards and continue its assault. This is assuming Scorpion doesn't feel pain like the typical zombie Also, Darth probably could use mind tricks but he hardly ever does. Mind tricks pretty much only work on the weak minded anyway so I don't think he will be able to affect Scorpion who I assume wouldn't be weak minded.

Also Maul's force grip wouldn't probably work very well either because Scorpion could just summon he'll fire underneath Maul to break free and cause some damage too. He will have focuse more on melee attacks

Force lightning isn't the same thing thing as lightning. It is an energy-based attack that channels force energy down the user's limbs, hurling arcing bolts of electricity from the wielder's fingertips or palms. It basically just like a high powered taser that makes a ton of electricity flow through the opponent

Well the symbiote is directly hurt with almost any attack Scorpion uses since most are in combination with hellfire.

WOW! So we finally find out the identity of the mysterious master. Once again I think that you have done an awesome job with your setup. I'm once again going to have to go for Maul even though I beleive Scorpion has a good chance himself. I can't wait to read the next chapter!

You guys are forgetting what Maul is capable of. He's an excellent lightsaber fighter and good at combat, but he's been one of the less adept users of the force, more likely to use force push than some of the real heavy lifting that Force users are capable off. With that said, I think Maul has a good chance to win this in Scorpion comes up close.
