Those who remember are likely to know that each power had a little fun image that went along with it. Those who remember also remember not many of them made a lot of sense. Here's where we creative sorts come in. We don't necessarily NEED new icons for all of the powers, but heck, why not? What we're going to be looking for are Recognition and Commonality. And by we I mean Me and whoever else ends up helping me poke through what we get. This is kind of a rogue Idea at the moment. As I was saying: Recognition and Commonality. Here is the rough power list: Powahs! Notice how they are categorized. The first set are roughly the Energy Powers, the second are Mental Powers, etc etc. What I'm looking for is for at least each Category of powers to have Commonality. If you just want to make a set for the Defense Powers (Set 6) or Skills (Set 3) that's fine. Just as long as they share a look and when you see them you go "okay, yeah, that's Tactician." Icons should be 32x32 Any questions just plaster them up here and we will answer as we can. (This really should've gone here in the first place, but I only just thought of it. Although, let's not go with pop culture references; we're aiming for original ideas here, without any copyright issues, plus it'll make sense to everyone who doesn't get every single reference. Also it'd be nice if there was a similar style for all the icons (as opposed to a mish-mash of anime, tv shows, movies, video games, artwork, etc.), even if said style is simply a generic 50x50 pixellated graphic that simply signifies what the power does (which is really all these icons probably should be doing anyway). The old icons weren't BAD, it's just that not all of them were very descriptive (mostly since they weren't designed as power icons), and since we're changing around some of the powers anyway I thought it'd be a good chance to make something mofre definitive. No, I just did what I always do when searching for an fpl pic (google). Didn't know we were looking for originals. I know that copyright issues are a concern, so I tried my best to select pics that (hopefully) wouldn't lead to that. Never caused a problem for any of my chars, so I didn't think it'd be a problem to use them as icons either. Was I wrong in this assumption? Character graphics will be the same once things get rolling, but I think Graves and Serge are looking for original graphics for power icons.
