OMFG Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Here is the first match of my new Arc, it feels good to come back to writing.*All Character are de-powered due to the story* Yamcha, Krillin, and the other humans were gathered at Kami's lookout while Super Buu, Picollo, and Gotenks were fighting it out inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. "Krillin...do you think that they'll win?" Yamcha asked, referring to Trunks and Goten. "I..I don't know tell you the truth..That Majin Buu guy is tough..he survived Vegeta's strongest attack.." Krilling replied, remembering when Vegeta sacrificed himself in order to kill Majin Buu, who was weaker than the current Buu. "Daddy, I'm scared..." Cried out little Maron, Krillen and Android 18's young daughter. "Don't worry honey, soon we'll be saf-" All of a sudden a mighty hole swallowed the entire Hyperbolic Time Chamber. What the people outside of it didn't know was that Super Buu, angered by the lack of food, ripped a hole in reality, just by shouting. Soon, the small hole enlarged and observed the Chamber, the Lookout, and began to engulf the rest of the Earth. Meanwhile, in Central City, Flash had just finished defeating Captain Cold, one of his main enemies. "It seems your plan has been foiled again Cold, why don't you just give up?" Allen asked cockily "I'll never quit, I'll just keep on coming ba-" Captain Cold's response was cut short as Yamcha fell out of the sky, and landed on top him. "Where did you come from?" Flash asked the obviously confused Yamcha. Yamcha stood up and wiped himself off. "I don't know..where am I? Where's Puar?" Yamcha asked looking around. Captain Cold, taking advantage of the distraction, managed to get away. Flash noticed and began to chase after him, when he suddenly stopped and grab his head in pain. "Uh..what's this pain I'm feeling.." His eyes flashed yellow, and his face turned crimson red. His head suddenly turned faced the confused Yamcha. "You! You let him get away! You'll pay for this!!" Flash charged at Yamcha..But Flash was surprised, his own speed had greatly reduced.. It was no matter he was still fast enough to kill this guy. Flash threw a wild punch at Yamcha, which he parried. "Whoa! I had nothing to do with this, relax!" Yamcha tried to reason, but Flash had none of this. "Enough! Fight!" Flash roared, once again. Ok, so here's the basics. Yamcha has fallen into the Central City and now Flash wants him dead.Flash's speed and strength have been reduced, due to his rage.Who wins? Guest sirmethos Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 It's quite saying, that in order for Yamcha to have any chance of winning, one needs the equivalent of Flash being blindfolded, both arms tied behind his back, and his legs amputated. Guest bigballerju Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Flash in order to run means he still has to tap into the speed force and Flash still has a whole lot of abilities he can still use from it. Flash in the new 52 can turn invisible, steal speed, look into the future (See multiple alternate routes his actions will go), he is still a conduit into the speed force, can phase other objects such as a airplane, tap his brain into the speed force, can heal,use his powers to take apart metals, pull Yamcha into the speed force which is a world itself, and has all his abilities he had before Flashpoint but more which already told you some of them. Flash doesn't have to catch Yamacha. Yamacha if he goes in for a H2H attack which he will can have his speed stolen from him by Flash to once again increase his speed. Xenerack5 Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 Even with Flashe's other abilities I think Yamcha wins with only minor difficulty. He has faced invisible foes before and that was before he could really be considered superhuman. Seeing the outcome of his actions only help Flash if they don't all end with him getting blasted and/or hit with the Wolf Fang Fist and pulling Yamcha into the Speed foce depend largely on his ability to get near him without dieing. Still, I'm not sure why Flash would suddenly flip out and try to kill someone just because their accidental intervention caused his foe to get away. As for the match, Flash can probably beat Yamcha due to the various things he can do with his speed (whirlwind, etc.). Due to the fact that he can only run at 200 mph in this match, though, I doubt he could tap into any Speed Force abilities. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If he's limited to 200 mph I don't think he'll be able to generate whirlwinds. or go invisible (an Indy car does about 200 mph and they aren't difficult to see), or vibrate through solid objects, etc. In fact, if his speed has been reduced to only 7 times that of a human athlete, he can't even do that impressive a blitz attack. Barry essentially is the speed force. He has access to it at any time from what I've seen. I have seen Wally be able to access it without full speed before but the others normally need to work up to the high end speed force feats. I would consider his actual speed as the main power granted by the speed force, and if that has been so horribly altered, most of his other abilities are also probably useless. How fast Barry goes doesn't affect his other abilities. His other abilities comes from the speed force. Barry in the new 52 has the entire speed force at his disposal. I thought he could create a whirlwind by running really fast in a circle, or pass through solid objects by vibrating really fast (that one never really made sense to me), or go invisible by moving too fast. It sounds like you're saying that these are separate superpowers, unrelated to his speed. Is this another New 52 revision? (I should really read some New 52 stuff sometime but everything I hear here and every scan I see makes it sound like DC has thoroughly messed up their characters.) They've mucked around with the stories/backstories/teams a bit (Cyborg replaced Martian Manhunter on the JL roster, and MM is Stormwatch, etc.).
