Guest Classic80s
Before I vote, how would you rank the Godzilla monsters listed above in terms of best/most unstoppable/toughest?
Guest Dinsdale Piranha
Rodan - 328' (100 m) tall, 30,000 tons. Estimated lifting power 60,000 tons.He is able to fly at speeds of Mach 3, though it's attack speed is less (I estimate 550 mph, wiich would create an impact about equal to an explosion of 197 tons of TNT. We don't see this version of Rodan hit with an energy weapon, but earlier versions showed high resistance to energy attacks, however this Rodan is not very durable against impacts and is stunned by a mid air collision with Anguiras. Anguiras - (90 m) tall, 60,000 tons. Estimated lifting power 120,000 tons.Anguiras is heavily armored and is very durable, especially when he rolls into a spiked ball form. He is able to withstand two 500 mph collisions with Godzilla and one with Rodan as well as a kick from King Caesar before being stunned. He has claws and teeth but his most powerful attack is to coil into a ball and launch himself at an opponant (I estimate the speed at 500 mph) with an estimated impact force roughly equal to 325 tons of TNT. King Caesar - 328' (100 m), 75,000 tons. Estimated lifting power 225,000 tons. This shaggy monster is highly agile, and even has martial arts skills. He was able to kick the massive Anguiras at Godzilla like a soccer ball. While strong, King Caesar was not as durable as God zilla and went down after only a few powerful blows. We don't get to see his resistance to energy attacks in GFW, but in an earlier movie he had the ability to absorb energy attacks and fire them back from his eyes. Gigan - 394' (120 m) tall, 60,000 tons. Estimated lifting power 120,000 tonsA cyborg monster, Gigan can fly at Mach 3 and fire a "multi-beam" from it's single eye. This appears to be much less powerful than Godzilla's breath. Gigan can launch grappling cabled from its arms. These are made of a metal so strong that Godzilla couldn't break them. It uses them to drag opponents close where it can use a radial saw mounted in its stomach to dice them up. Gigan is not durable enough to withstand a point blank blast of Godzilla's breath to the face. Godzilla - 328' (100 m) tall, 60,000 tons. Estimated lifting power - 180,000 tonsGodzilla's thermonuclear breath is able to take out most of the monsters with one shot. It is also able to destroy a meteoroid of approximately 20 meters diameter. Assuming this is granite the Asteroid Destruction Calculator says it would take a 30.7 kt explosion to vaporize it so Godzilla's blast must be somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 kilotons of energy. Godzilla is highly durable and is apparently able to withstand at least a dozen blasts similar in power to his own breath without dying. He is rammed by both Rodan and Anguiras without being knocked down or injured. Monster X - 394 ' (120 m) tall, 60,000 tons. Estimated lifting power - 180,000 tonsHe is powerful enough to match Godzilla's strength and to take a point blank blast with his thermonuclear breath. He is very agile and must be extremely strong, even for his size. He fires a "gravity beam" from his eyes that is as powerful as Godzilla's breath. He also possesses an energy-draining bite and limited powers of self-levitation. In other words, X is pretty much the equal of Godzilla except for his ability to transform into Kaiser Ghidorah. Kaiser Ghidorah - 459' (140 m) tall, 100,000 tons. Estimated lifting power - 250,000 tonsHe wasn't on the list, but is the final form of Monster X so I put him here in case Treacherous wants to include him. He has three gravity beams (one from each head) and the combination is mush more powerful (possible 3 times) than Godzilla's breath. His armor is powerful enough to shrug off Godzilla's beams with minimal effect and each of his heads has an energy draining bite. Though we don't see him fly, KG has wings. It's possible he can fly at the same speed of King Ghidorah, or Mach 3. More later if I do it.
Guest maggog
Well the comic book that I read had Thor blow up a star with a lightning bolt by himself, and in another comic I saw the Asgardians defeat an army of ice giants, soo I'm gonna go with Asgards finest. Guest sirmethos
Thor, Loki, Hela, and possibly the Enchantress, are the only ones of the Asgardians that are of any use in this fight. But since Thor could take out the majority of the monsters, if not all of them, on his own, that shouldn't be a problem. They bag the monsters, put up their new trophies in the hall of Valhalla, and celebrate another eventful Tuesday, with a large helping of Asgardian ice cream. Guest Incredible Hulk
The Asgardians have faced frost giants before but I'm sure nothing like these guys. The monsters have immense brute force and size, other special powers like energy projection and what not and greater numbers on their side. I'm sure Thor and Hela and Loki maybe with his magic are strong enough to handle monsters. Although they would put up a good fight I think the greater numbers would overcome the gods. treacherous
Thor and the magicians are going to be the key. I believe Thor's a lot stronger than these monsters. Anybody got Thor's lifting power? If the magic wielding gods can keep the monsters at bay, Thor can put a heavy whooping on a lot of these guys. But that is a LOT OF HUGE FIREPOWER! All those monsters in one place firing those massive beams, that rolling pin cushion flying everywhere and King Caesar doing Kaiju Karate... These gods have never faced anything like this. Guest sirmethos
Thor has a lifting strength of more than 1 million tons. There's no direct statement about his lifting strength, that gives a more accurate number than that. Also, his belt can double his strength, and his Berserker Rage/Warrior Madness, that increases his strength/physical power by a factor of x10. treacherous
Yeah, that's what I thought (that it was something huge like that). Yeah, he's the wrecking ball. They'd have to focus on him which would leave the others open to attack.
Guest skadoosh
I'm pretty sure the Asgardians have this. Thor has the strength, enhanced by Mjolnir, speed and durability to hurt the monsters and tank their hits, energy attacks to, at the very least, match those of the monsters and the skill and tactical prowess to lead the other super-tough, magic-wielding Gods to victory. I'm sure it would be a hard fight, and any of the Gods that are much physically weaker than Thor might get crushed or vaporized, but with Thor's overall power, Loki's immense trickery and all those big magic swords and blasts backing them up i can't see the Gods losing this. However, i do think it depends on what version of Godzilla, and possibly some of the other monsters, is being used here, as i think there are some version of Godzilla that are genuinely God-like. Guest sirmethos
And if any of the monsters are vulnerable to mind control, mental suggestion, or just plain magic, then they are easy fodder for Loki and the Enchantress, and will likely be turned against their fellow monsters. Not to mention all the other more esoteric powers that the Asgardians, especially Thor, has in their repertoire. As I said earlier, for the Asgardian team, this is just an eventful Tuesday. Guest skadoosh
Pretty much. Maybe this would be better with an average Avengers line-up, or a lot of X Men, or something...
treacherous
Maybe JLA. I don't think an Average Avengers group could do it.
Guest skadoosh
Maybe JLA. I don't think an Average Avengers group could do it. It does depend on the line-up, but i agree, it's not likely. The JLA might be too much for the monsters, too.
treacherous
However, i do think it depends on what version of Godzilla, and possibly some of the other monsters, is being used here, as i think there are some version of Godzilla that are genuinely God-like. It's the Final Wars version of all these monsters. If there is any version of these monsters in continuity with that movie than that version too. The fact that Thor could possibly one-shot monsters of this level is crazy to me. This team of monsters could massacre planet after planet, so I have a question, but as not to derail my own thread... It's here.
treacherous
Wait!! Doesn't Mothra have a paralizing spray attack? At his size, it usually coats whole cities. If he gets shooting that stuff, he could KO these guys with that alone!
Guest sirmethos
For Thor at least, I'll just quote: "Being a god whose heritage is half-Asgardian & half-Elder God affords Thor absolute invulnerability and immunity to such human ailments as diseases, toxins, poisons, corrosives, fire, electrocution, asphyxiation, lead, and radiation poisoning." "Thor has been shown to be immune to all human diseases as well as its poisons and toxins. Thor is also immune to electrocution and radiation poisoning and his metabolism is so great that it is impossible for Thor to become drunk." Guest skadoosh
Thor could cause as much damage to a planet as Godzilla could, if not more. In this fight there are too many Gods, of such Godly power, for the God-like monsters to beat. Also, regarding the KO spray, what he ^ said. treacherous
Aha, but Mothra is a Cosmic deity. I'm pretty sure that his sprays and silks that are strong enough to hold Godzilla aren't the same as anything humanity has. They (the Asgardians) aren't the only deities. Mothra is divine. Mothra is usually ignored, but that beast has the most wins over Godzilla of all the Kaiju. I'm thinking the spray would have an effect. As for Skadoosh, I'm not sure any of the other gods are anywhere near strong enough to combat these monsters. Magically perhaps, Loki and Enchantress would definitely be a problem with their illusions. But Mothra is also a psychic. She/He wrecks minds. treacherous
Again, I'm not saying they would win (Thor is a beast), but it's a factor. If that stuff can incapitate a monster of that size, then a six foot guy is in trouble despite his magic nature. That's a lot of spray. ALOT! Guest sirmethos
I was tempted to say "that's what she said". But instead, I'll just point out that "immune" does not mean that a larger amount will work, where a smaller amount wouldn't. I have no problem believing that it would work on the rest of the Asgardians, but Thor at least would be unaffected.
Guest skadoosh
I'm sure Mothra and the rest have plenty of powerful stuff to throw at the Gods, but Thor alone has faced more monsters, demons and supervillains than anyone else in this fight, and has survived until now, so he alone is capable fo taking out many, if not all, of the monsters. Loki and Enchantress have more than just illusions to use, and those illusions would be pretty flawless. You are right about Thor being the most combat-capable God, but the rest are far from slackers in the fighting department, so i still see them winning this. I'm aware it wont be easy, like i said before, and the Gods may lose a few of their number, but they still win, in my eyes.
treacherous
I want to see it! I need more sites like Screw Attack making the fights happen. Also Methos, I'm almost certain that Enchantress would say that.

The write up specifies that this is Godzilla from "Godzilla: Final Wars." At the end of the movie he got a power boost from the humans that enabled him to blow off one of Kaiser Ghidorah's heads with a single blast. I'd guess that if was at least a x5 boost but that's just a guess.
