HeyTim85
Pieces of metal begin to explode as the robot bodies meet, when thrown by a grinning Beast. The smile fades as Beast sees a giant robot coming at him. “This isn’t fair,†Beast shrieks. “I made these things to help us, not try to destroy us.†“Perhaps next time you design your robots easier to destroy, ya?†Says Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler disappears in a cloud of smoke and appears on the top of a large flying drone that has been trying to shoot him unsuccessfully with lasers. Placing a plastic charge Nightcrawler flips off the drone as it quickly explodes and falls out of the air. “One down, one to go,†Nighcrawler says, landing precariously on a nearby light pole. A giant crash is heard as Beast goes hurling towards the wall. Nightcrawler sees Beast in distress manages to wrap his tail around the light pole as he catches Beasts outstretched arms and hurls him at the flying drone. Beast’s fist manages to break through the flying drones’ hull ripping wires out from its body. Beast jumps off the drone before it crashes into the ground. “I’m all out of plastic explosive!†yells Nightcrawler. “Keep him distracted!†yells Beast as he begins tearing at the drone. “His skin is too tough for us to penetrate.†Nightcrawler grabs a broken metal rod and teleports in front of the robot, connecting quickly and teleports away. The robot seems unfazed and quickly heads towards Nightcrawler. Suddenly a laser flash is seen hitting the robot in the back. “There’s an opening,†Screams Beast. “He’s too quick for me, see if you can get it.†Beast flips onto the robots head as Nightcrawler disappears in a puff of smoke. The robot grabs beast and begins to cock his arm to throw him when suddenly the robot stops moving for a moment before crashing to the ground. Standing behind the robot is Nightcrawler with power cords in his hand. Suddenly the room is flooded in light as all the constructs disappear. “Bring it in you two,†shouts Cyclops. “That was another good session in the danger room today. I especially liked how well the two of you coordinated your attacks so well.†“Danke,†Nightcrawler replied. “Another plastic explosive would have been nice though.†“Maybe next time,†Cyclops replied. “We don’t want you to become too reliant on technology.â€â€œIt’s too bad we never get attacked by an intoxicated swarm of butterflies, Beast states. “I want to be on call that day.†“Well I do have another option for you if you’d like to try it,†Cyclops says. “Are you up for an interesting battle?†“Why not?†Beast says. “Anything different has to beat another round of robots.†Suddenly the room morphs into a beach type setting surrounded by old statues in the background. On the ground lays a pair of fisherman rubber boots, next to a bucket of water. Suddenly they see two people in front of them. One has a green skin that seems to have some type of electrical charge coming off it. The other is seen floating in the air as if meditating. Finally Nightcrawler and Beast hear the words: “Battle One, Ready!!! Street Fighter EX3 will be the combatants. The x-men have no other equipment than is mentioned in the background description. JohnnyChany
I always enjoy a good Street Fighter vs. X-Men fight (The forefather of the Marvel vs. Capcom series). For this one, I have to give it to the boys in blue fur. They have fought a more diverse set of enemies than Dhalsim or Blanka, which gives them an edge in adapting their attacks. Of course this is assuming the Danger Room hasn't programmed the Street Fighters to target Beast and Nightcrawler's weaknesses. But, even if that were the case I'm still betting on the intelligence and guile of Kurt Wagner and Hank McCoy.
Guest Oltobaz
I think Hank and Kurt would certainly prevail against real Blanka and Dhalsim, they know each other well, and teamwork goes a long way. That's not to say it'd be easy, Blanka is physically equivalent to Beast roughly, but his electricity can deal some serious damage, and Dhalsim can teleport just like Wagner, extend his arms, etc... Our X guys would have a fight on their hands, but their superior experience would help them prevail in the end. As seen in Xmen comics however, the Danger Room certainly has the potential to win this fight. If Danger's IA wants to win this fight through Blanka and Dhalsim's constructs, chances are the Xmen are going down. For good. I don't think anything of the sort would happen in this setup though, which has cyclops programming these constructs himself.. Danger doesn't seem to be in charge... Yeah, Beast and Nightcrawler definitely win, it's just a training routine, with a twist, granted. Good setup, and good writing, by the way On another note, I too enjoyed Street Fighter vs Xmen. In fact, I'm a big fan of the actual XMen and Marvel Heroes games (Saturn versions), with gameplay more akin to Street Fighter II. As for Street Fighter vs Xmen, I was pretty psyched when I realized Sabretooth was part of the roster. Wolverine against Sabretooth! Fact is, it's a shame they never bothered to implement Beast and Blanka, though they do make some cameos in the background..
DSkillz
Pretty good set-up, HeyTim. You've cleaned up your tenses in this match. Beast doesn't quite seem his thinking, intellectual self here, and I don't think Kurt would be strong enough to catch and throw someone Hank's size in mid-air, especially after being thrown by a big robot. As for the match, I think Nightcrawler and Beast can win here. Blanka and Dhalsim have formidable abilities for sure, but as mentioned, it's not really too much that Beast and Kurt haven't seen before. Also, these aren't the real Street Fighters, but the Danger Room's simulation of them, so they may be even less formidable.
Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
I beg to differ. Dhalsim teleports as well as can sense energy. He taught Ryu how to use his chi and he can shoot fire (fire burns fur) Blanks generates electricity that can be used anytime. So night crawler would be shocked as he grabs him Strength goes like thisBeast class 10Dhalsim is class 0 he can probably lift as much as wolverine can. Blanks is at least class 3 (3 tons)Nightcrawler is a normal human FightingDhalsim is the better fighter of all of them. Beast is nextNightcrawlerThen blanka WeaknessesBeast is close range only. He can be burned or shocked and has no way of blocking itNightcrawler has no defense vs dhalsim as he too can teleport and sense his approachBlanka is a brute and can get out smartedDhalsim can still get ko by beast superior strength All in all I think Street Fighter wins this
Guest Dr. Pymp(mex)
Oh read udon comics. I am using that dhalsim. The one that has telepathy and tricks Sagat to thinking he is on fire when he is not This dhalsim is badass

As you said, Blanka could be outsmarted, so that and Kurt's teleportation could prolong the fight. Blanka should pull off the win here if it was the REAL Blanka. Seeing as this is a the Danger Room simulation, I'd say Kurt. Decent set-up.
DSkillz
Nightcrawler has no defense vs dhalsim as he too can teleport and sense his approach Ah, but don't forget that Kurt can rapid teleport: It may be hard for Dhalsim to react to an attack like this, especially since he's not exactly all that quick. Guest bigballerju
I'm going with Dhalsim and and Blanka. I see Beast making the mistake of going in for an attack on Blanka and giving Blanka the chance to get a hold of him to take him out with his electricity attack. Dhalsim is more powerful then Nightcrawler and would definitely win without too much trouble. Dhalsim has telepathy which he used on Cammy in the games to wipe Bison's mental control over her, his fire attacks which are energy based since Seth was able to use it, teleporting which he has been shown in adaptions like Udon Comics to teleport pretty fast, and he can attack from long range. Dhalsim is also a excellent fighter of course as well. Team Street Fighter wins and the two X-Men members lose a session in the Danger Room which is then followed up by one of Cyclops's boring lectures on what they did wrong. Being that this is Danger Room Cyclops won't have a simulation of Dhalsim hold back abilities wise.
HeyTim85
Hmm perhaps the background rubber boots might help. Who knows maybe the bucket of water may come in handy as well....
