Match 13860 Black Canary and Prometheus (DC Comics) vs. Winter Soldier and Black Panther

SECRET WARS PART II

 

Daredevil and Bronze Tiger traded kicks as both men countered each others moves. Daredevil threw a left hook and then a right as both punches connected. Tiger countered by twisting on his heel and turning as he hit Daredevil with a spinning roundhouse kick to the jaw. Both men continued to battle as Tiger started to get the best of Daredevil. At the same time Deathstroke went to slash Ironfist across the chest as Iron fist's forearms grew with chi powers. Ironfist blocked the sword  with his forearm as Slade looked on impressed Ironfist then went to hit Slade with his Ironfist as Slade ducked and Ironfist missed as he hit the air. Slade hit Ironfist with a series of multiple body hooks as Ironfist stumped back annoyed and ready to finish the battle.

 

“ Okay I think this has gone on long enough. “

 

Ironfist bursted with superhuman speed toward Slade as Slade rushed him as she tried to increase his speed and strength as well with the nth metal. Ironfist proved faster as he hit Slade with his powerful iron fist as a burst of energy slammed into Slade. Deathstroke flew in the air toward Bronze Tiger like a rocket as he slammed right into him. The two men were send flying into a nearby store as they crashed through the window and the force of chi created a explosion that went off in the store. Flames were lit all around the fallen men as Daredevil and Ironfist nodded that there job was done. Daredevil pulled out his Avengers communicator and contacted Shield for transport. Captain America came on the line.

 

“ Gentlemen excellent job. Capturing these two will definitely make Shield happy. We can let them extract the information out of those men as the Avengers figure out the next target to hit. Pickup in 5 boys. Cap out.â€

 

Daredevil and Ironfist picked up the men as the quin jet was flying toward them.

 

“ Nice shot with that iron fist Danny. You got more powerful.â€

 

Ironfist nodded in agreement as they walked to the jet which had landed where Spiderman clapped in celebration with Wolverine grinning. 

 

“ I have resumed training with Shang Chi. Looks like it paid off as always. I just wonder whether this went down too easy.â€

 

Daredevil laughed as Ironfist shook his head in disbelief at what he said himself.

 

“ Only you would say that but your right. This Checkmate knew we were coming. Yea those two guys were very good and probably could beat some of our best but still. It was almost like they wanted us to find that building. Did Cap check to see if anything else went down while we were here. Something the Avengers normally wouldn't pay attention to?

 

Ironfist thought for a moment as both men enter the jet and were met by several Avengers. Spiderman from behind walked beside them as he observed the men they carried as Ironfist and Daredevil locked them into Shield handcuffs and into the seats. Spiderman tapped both men on the shoulders as they turned around and to see them hanging above them on ceiling.

 

“ Your right Danny. It was a diversion. While you guys were battling Deadpool 2.0 and Lion King we had a break in at the new Shield prison that was built where the Raft originally was on the island. Several villains again were broken out,  dozens of security guards killed, and some of America's finest super villains made a escape. We are heading over there right now after dropping these two off at Shield to help out Luke, Ironman, Thor, and the other Avengers. “

 

Both men shook there heads as Spiderwoman walked up and put a arm on Daredevil.

 

“ Let me guess Deja Vu? Except this time you guys already have the Avengers formed and we have another Secret War that seems to be coming from another world. You boys don't have to come since...â€

 

Daredevil and Ironfist shook there heads no as Daredevil spoke first.

 

“ No Jessica were fine. We want in on this. We'll help with the prison and we definitely want to help the Avengers stop this new Secret War before things escalate.â€

 

Nick Fury who was on board the plane piloting smiled from his seat and spoke through the speakers.

 

“ Good to hear Daredevil. Strap in Boys and Girls. I'll have us there in 20. We need to get to the bottom of this now. Let's clean up that damn place and put these idiots back in the cells“

 

20 Minutes later

 

SHIELD PRISON

 

 

Captain America, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Spider Woman, Spiderman, Nick Fury, and Wolverine arrived on the island as they saw chaos in front of them. Various villains from Sandman to Crossbones, Carnage, Sabretooth, and more were all all over the place battling the rest of the Avengers who were already there. Thor battled the evil Hyperion who had been locked up for years as others like Black Widow fought Typhoid Mary. Battles ensued all over as the Avengers led by Captain America jumped into action. Spiderman web swinged toward Carnage and hit him with a series of punches as Wolverine jumped Sabretooth from behind and clawed away attempting to tear him to shreds. Iron Fist saw one of the Wrecking Crew about to smash Janet Pym with his wrecking ball as he rushed toward him and hit him with a Iron Fist as the force of the power created explosion blowing back anybody around them. Nick Fury took out two of his Shield weapons and back shooting away with his handguns. Bullets flied as one bullet hit Bullseye in both his right leg as well as his shoulder as another hit Scarecrow in the head. Daredevil observed the battle as he shook his head that something was wrong. He was about to jump into battle when he picked up voices from far away within the prison. Daredevil made his way inside the prison as Black Panther who knocked out Shocker with a series of kicks joined him.

 

 

“ You picked something up Daredevil? I know that look.â€

 

Black Panther questioned Daredevil as they silently made there way inside the prison which was empty since all the villains were on the surface battling the heroes.

 

“ Yes I heard voices. Someone was saying hurry up before they notice the diversion.â€

 

Black Panther nodded to Daredevil in approval that he managed to pick it up inside as they walked to where Prometheus and Black Canary were. Both had a portal opened as Norman Osborn, Toxin, Juggernaut, and other were going through. Both turned to the two heroes and laughed. Prometheus who was in charge spoke as the portal stayed opened.

 

“ Too late now. I see you heroes on this world catch on quick. Sorry but we have to....â€

 

 

Daredevil and Black Panther ran to intercept before as before they could get near Black Canary unleashed a devastating sonic scream knocked sent both men crashing against the wall holding there ears in check. Daredevil because of his super hearing was on the ground in more pain then Panther as Panther recovered and got up seeing Daredevil on the floor holding his ears with blood coming out of it.

 

 â€œ Ah good job Canary. I see our friends got a taste of your power. Let's be quick and kill these two. We don't want anyone following us through this portal.â€

 

Prometheus and Black Canary stood ready to battle as before they could attack Winter Soldier appeared behind both of them as he attacked them from behind with a double kick to the head. Both Prometheus and Canary rolled on the ground holding there heads in annoyance as they quickly moved away in position. Black Panther grinned beneath his mask as he saw Winter Soldier.

 

“ How's Daredevil Black Panther. Her sonic scream might have done some serious damage. “

 

Black Panther checked on Daredevil quickly and moved toward Winter Soldier.

 

“ He'll make it. Don't know how bad it is. Let's take down these two idiots and get him help.â€

 

Canary and Prometheus laughed as they rushed the two. Canary spoke as she got ready for another attack.

 

“ Boys your soon gone be joining your friend there on the floor. Except both of you will be dead.â€

 

Let the battle begin!

Team One is looking to kill Panther and Winter Soldier so they can escape. Team Two obviously wants to put them down so they don't escape and get Daredevil help. Who wins? Everyone has all there usual weapons and equipment.

That's inaccurate. Black Canary's scream is potent, and she's a competent hand to hand fighter. Winter Soldier is extremely dangerous also.

Both of these questions aren't answered in the setup, and will affect the outcome to an extreme degree.

Current Blank Panther and Prometheus has no prep. Just basic knowledge of what he has seen on TV and in the media.

I'm going to have to do some guessing because I'm not so familiar with Prometheus and Winter Soldier. I think the Soldier is probably a good match for Canary in HTH, but he doesn't have anything I can think of to match her Canary Cry. I'd give that to Canary.

 

Prometheus is very dangerous but seems to depend a lot on preparation. Without that, I'm guessing someone as skilled and prepared as Panther can take him.

 

If I'm right, that leaves Panther vs. Canary, which is a good fight, but he matches her in skill and surpasses her in strength and speed. She has her cry, but sonic attacks are ecactly the wrong thing to use against a man in a vibranium mesh uniform.

 

Panther and Soldier win a tough fight.

If you switch it out, Winter Soldier would still beat Prometheus, and Panther would beat Canary.

My home computer is so bugged out that it hasn't posted my comments to this match three times (at the library). Since there's no prep time on either side, but Baller said that Prometheus has at least seen Black Pathner in the news then, that means he's added T`Challa's skills to his helmet or however he does that. With that he'll beat Panther in this first encounter, just like he did Batman their first go round.

 

I see it differently with Winter Soldier and Black Canary. Winter Soldier uses guns, and I think he can fire his piece before Canary can generate a scream. Sure she's handled thugs with guns dozens of times but not someone this skilled.

 

That leaves Winter Soldier to help out Panther (Prometheus won't take him out that quickly). Two against one and Prometheus will probably have to leave Canary behind.

That is true. It seems as if the suit would cancel out Prometheus's nightstick. But couldn't he disorient Panther with the lights on his helmet take him down?

A skilled martial artist can defeat an unskilled for who is stronger and faster, but only within certain limits. With Panther vs. Prometheus you have a highly skilled fighter with superior strength and speed fighting an even more highly skilled fighter with human level strength and speed. It's possible Prometheus could win in straight HTH but I'd bet on the Panther.

Except this isn't slightly more skilled fighter. This is a beat Lady Shiva in three seconds kind of fighter. He has the 30 best martial artists in the world and their physical stats in his helmet. We can assume that this includes people like Batman, Richard Dragon, Cassandra Cain, ect. So I'd bet on Prometheus. Sure, Panther would hold him off thanks to his stats, but he still ends up going down hard.

And Batman still beat him. Black Panther can outsmart him and outtech him, like Batman did. Lady Shiva is stupid and arrogant, that's why she went down in 3 seconds.

Actually, Batman got the hell beaten out of him in the first encounter. In the second, since he had been dissecting Prometheus's helmet for a month, he knew exactly what to do. Black Panther will not have that insight. Shiva is also among the best martial artists in the universe. So Panther also gets beaten down. If he had prep, he would bash Prometheus. But that is not the case.
