DSkillz
Raven has just open the portal for Trigon to enter this realm. Seconds later, the entire Earth is transformed into a hellish, barren wasteland, with pools of lava everywhere, entire buildings in shambles, and every living thing turned to stone. Near the source of the portal, Proteus is being transported under heavy security to a mutant prison when the transformation wave hits. Proteus is turned to stone along with the surrounding security guards, but turns himself human again within seconds with his powers. He steps out of the now-decrepit armored truck he was held in and, to his shock and horror, notices the apocalyptic landscape. Some fire demons come after the mutant boy, but he quickly dispatches them. It is then that he sees a giant devil-like figure sitting in the midst of a sea of lava. With a sense of awe and curiousity, he creates a wave out of the surrounding area and heads out to confront the demon, though he has some trouble altering this landscape. DSkillz
Huh. It's kind of weird that Proteus has barely been used in matchups of any kind on EF. I was just curious to see how this matchup would go. I just may make some matches involving the X-Men and Teen Titans in the future. Well, here are the parameters. This is Proteus from X-Men: TAS facing off against Trigon the Terrible from the original Teen Titans cartoon. Proteus has all the capabilities of his X-Men: TAS self (though the general demonic possession of the Earth is somewhat limiting his power), while this is Trigon shortly after Raven released him onto the Earth. Who wins?
Guest Betterman
Trigon. Proteus did nothing on Trigon's level. Is he even planetary level Reality Warper?
DSkillz
You sure? Keep in mind that these are the toon versions of these characters.

corvette1710
Well, in his cartoon version he still has global (possibly more) level reality warping merely by stepping onto the planet's surface (perhaps even a bit before? I don't exactly remember the show scene for scene) so I'd imagine his more active reality warping would very much so dwarf Proteus's own. Correct me and my memory if I'm wrong. Guest Dinsdale Piranha
I'm not familiar enough with the old X-Men series. Can you give me an episode title?
DSkillz
The episodes are simply called "Proteus". I hate to post entire episodes for people to have to look through, but as far as I can see there are no specific tribute vids for TAS's Proteus that showcases what he can do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmL7ON4sl8s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjlI1v6n_3o
Guest Dinsdale Piranha
I'll watch these sometime today, thanks!
leroypowell3
I'll say Trigon. Proteus is just a teenager or young man, with maturity of a kid cause he's been locked up. If he had been trained with the rest of the X-Men he'd be able to win.
