Guest bigballerju
There is more that came before those scans he showed. Vader was blocking Boba Fett's attacks before that with the force and his lightsaber. Boba Fett had that fight lost from the start. The only reason Boba got that shot off is because Boba had something Vader wanted and Vader was being careful not to kill Fett so he wouldn't lose the item
Guest Ruinus
Not really, Vader's been tagged by projectiles that travel slower than ME bullets before, as you showed in your scan. Also, Wrex with a shotgun, He simply can't block it even if he knows when and where it's going to be, unless his saber somehow became a LOT wider than it actually is.Vader doesn't have to block them with his saber, he simply has to move his hand, force Wrex's aim in a different direction. Or just move his hand and throw Wrex around all day long. Hell, he doesn't even really have to use hand gestures, Vader can easily kill Wrex without any movement on his part. And the simple fact that it takes more time to turn someone around with the force than it does to pull a trigger and that Vader simply does not have the reflexes to block Mass Effect projectiles isn't going to be fixed by precognition.Yes it is, because Vader isn't reacting after Wrex fired his gun, Vader is sensing that, say, in 2 seconds Wrex is going to shoot him, and therefore acts before hand to throw Wrex around. That's like saying that if I knew where and when a bullet was going off, I could dodge it, if I dodge before he fires, he just adjusts his aim. If I dodge after, I'm still f*cked cause I don't have the reflexes necessary. That's why Spider-Sense works so good on Spider-Man vs. guy with a gun, and not so good on normal guy with Spider-Sense vs. guy with a gun.You move out of the way out of the first bullet, then proceed to knock the guy away because you have magic telekinetic powers and can do so. Your Spiderman argument is irrelevant because Vader is more akin to Spiderman than some random asshole is. In Heir to the Empire, Luke couldn't feel anything beyond a blast door, but he heard noises, which indicated to him that C-3P0 was behind the door. In Dark Tide II: Ruin, it was said that Yuuzhan Vong could not be felt through the force because they evolved in a different galaxy, and so did evolve a symbiotic relationship with midi-chlorians. If he feels bullets coming at him, it's already too late, there's no way he could block the bullets after they're fired. What were the specific circumstnaces of that event? And again, it flies directly in the face of Yoda's speech about how the Force is between ". You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.†It also doesn't mesh with the two quotes I just put up about Jedi sensing danger from non-living things that lack midi-chlorians. No, the Vong were specifically cut off from the Force, I don't know about them not having midi-chlorians, but their lack of Force presence isn't because they come from some other planet, it's because Zonama Sekot cut them off from the Force for being too brutal and dangerous. Not only that, but again, if Jedi weren't able to react to danger from Force absent objects then they would never be able to block attacks from droids. Yet they do. So Shepard and co aren't in any particular advantage in that regard.
Guest thanosisawesome
And remember, these guys aren't slouches in the aim department. Soldier Shepard is an incredible warrior, and so is Garrus.
Guest bigballerju
If they engage Vader in battle from a distance they stand a better chance. Getting into close combat with Vader is a very bad move.
Guest Ruinus
The thing is that distance is pretty irrelevant here too. The Normandy II isn't a giant open battle ground, at best they'll be able to catch Vader in the bridge if they are all the way over by the C and C section of the ship... but Vader can just as easily kill them from other there since he also has ranged attacks.
