I mean, it's a Trait of the Doctors to somehow land in these situations that test him and his companions, but never enough to kill him. If it's a battle of wits, I'd say the Doctor, if it's a straight fight, Lyta has a good chance. She'll find him unusually resistant to telepathy and his Venusian aikido will trump any hand to hand training she's got. She does have the PPG, though if he ducks inside the TARDIS it'll never blast through that.
