comic_book_fan
apocalypse is stronger and harder to put down and has telepathy which we know can put thor down this is a tough fight but I think apocalypse can win this.
Guest badpierce
Didn't this just happen in a Thor Comic? I think it was young Thor but still. Pretty hard to pick this one. I will come back to it.
Guest bigballerju
Apocalypse only beat young Thor in the past because of his armor and young Thor couldn't hurt him. Current Thor is way more powerful and with experience would beat him. Thor wins.

Thor wins.apocalypse was toying with thor in that comic aswell and the only reason thor ever beat him was because apocalypse didn't know that could hurt him and apocalypse didn't use half of his powers in that comic so thor wasn't the only one who didn't use all his powers. xLEGACYx
Apocalypse wins here. While in that comic Thor was younger, it took all he had just to hurt Apocalypse. Like comicbookfan said, Apocalypse was toying with him. There are so many ways for him to win and Thor can't stop them all. He was recently beaten by Red Skull that was learning to use Xavier's brain.

The one who could take the form of whoever you trusted most or whatever, who took the form of Odin and told Thor that he needed to help Red Skull. Judging from what each character is actually capable of, Apocalypse should not lose in a real fight. In comics he wins due to hero factor but Apocalypse has all the tools to beat him. ViceCityMobster86
I am voting Thor, great match up though.
comic_book_fan
I'm not a huge Thor fan, but couldn't he just bury Apocalypse under the mountain?apocalypse can teleport has no known limit to his strength and has never done so to my knowledge but could turn intangiblelike the Martian manhunter or turn to gas water I mean you pretty much have to destroy him on the subatomic level to kill him thor could win but he isn't smart enough to his hammer grants him control over electro magnetism he could disrupt the current to his brain like magneto did in house of m but thor is much to Nobel for that he would much rather hammer away at apocalypse. Guest bigballerju
Thor is plenty smart and their aren't any writers here to forget about his other abilities. Thor has plenty of abilities he can use to put down Apocalypse.

Guest bigballerju
Not only that ever since Marvel Now Thor cuts loose more abilities wise. So he is willingly to use his other abilities more. He almost did in Uncanny Avengers.

comic_book_fan
show me in marvel now since that's what were going by where he even used a godblast or mentioned it or used the electro magnetic powers to the level to beat apocalypse and forgetting powers is a 2 way street apocalypse turns intangible the god blast would miss then thor is almost dead from using the attack apocalypse finishes him if we can start doing stuff that's completely out of character but completely in there powers then apocalypse would kill thor hell he could just turn phase and then shut thor's mind down there are countless ways apocalypse could win this and only 2 maybe 3 ways thor can win

I cannot decipher that long of a run-on sentence.
Guest bigballerju
Agreed on the periods and capitalize certain words. Also Thor's history is intact with most of Marvel's Characters. They didn't reboot anything really for Marvel Now. So...God Blast....Boom...Apocalypse goes bye bye...
Guest Omega11
1. I don't believe there is anything in Marvel Now that retcons Thor's use of the God-blast. 2. If you want proof of Marvel Now Thor's use of his abilities then you need to provide proof for Marvel Now Apocalypse's use of his abilities also. 3. Who said we are using the Marvel Now version? What happened to most powerful versions? That would be Rune King Thor and I don't know of any version of Apocalypse who wouldn't be defeated easily by him. 4. Thor has dealt with intangible foes before such as Moonstone(Ms. Marvel) in Siege. 5. Thor has demonstrated significant resistance to mental assault in the past. 6. Last I checked, Thor has matter manipulation.

If you want proof of Marvel Now Thor's use of his abilities then you need to provide proof for Marvel Now Apocalypse's use of his abilities also.2,the reason those were brought up was because people started yelling god blast which isn't even in thor's character to use like that when have you seen thor just say screw I am to lazy to engage you in honorable combat so I am going to blow up the whole galaxy.3. Who said we are using the Marvel Now version? What happened to most powerful versions? That would be Rune King Thor and I don't know of any version of Apocalypse who wouldn't be defeated easily by him.3.true but I thought this was most powerful version that was within the rules below high end cosmic beings rune king thor was on celestial level. 4. Thor has dealt with intangible foes before such as Moonstone(Ms. Marvel) in Siege.4. but has godblast hit them 5. Thor has demonstrated significant resistance to mental assault in the past.5.Charles put him to sleep in avx with a wave of his hand along with a whole mass of others an omega level telepath will do that to ya. 6. Last I checked, Thor has matter manipulation.6. so does apocalypse.
Guest force_echo
Even without the Godblast, Thor has more plain raw power than Apoc does.
