Andromeda was the AI of the ship and often appeared as a hologram or a face on a communication screen. Rommie was an android avatar for Andromeda's consciousness. As the series progressed she developed a distinct personality so that there were times when the android and the hologram would disagree and even argue. Andromeda has super strength which is far superior to that of a Neitzschean or a Magog. The only character to equal her in the series was another android. They exchanged blows that sent each other flying dozens of feet. At a guess I'd put her at a 5-10 ton lift. Her reflexes and speed are also far superior to human. She has been seen dodging supersonic coilgun fire. Her senses are also superhuman and she can collect visual, audible and other data and process it at supercomputer speeds. She is durable enough to weather multiple blows from another android or multiple hits with a coligun or force lance without going down. In addition to her strength, she uses a force-lance. This is a versatile weapon that has a variety of functions.- It can can be used as a taser- It can fire plasma bursts- It can be extended to about six feet to use as a melee weapon- It can fire smart bullets that track a target- It can fire "effectors" which can shoot down incoming smart bullets or other projectiles Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
