This is from the Avengers back when. Moondragon (who once mentally enslaved an entire planet's populace) had seduced Thor using her telepathy. When he realized how corrupt she had become, he turned on her and this is what happened.

Thor can handle a pretty strong telepathic attack.

Fox said no Skyfather level entities, which is basically exactly Rune King Thor.

No, he said "no cosmic level force of nature entities" in other words, no abstract entities, Rune king Thor is obscenely powerful, but he is not an abstract entity.

With that, Rune King Thor is allowed.

Rune King Thor is cosmic level. He surpasses Odin in power.

Since you quite obviously don't get it, I will dumb it down even further.

Rune King Thor is powerful, but he is not as powerful as the various cosmic forces of nature, those would be beings like Death, Eternity etc.

The various cosmic forces of nature are not allowed, anything below that is allowed.

I'm sure Thanos has more of a chance to use his mind powers on Thor and he hasn't. Neither has Gamora. The enchantress uses magic which is why she was able to enchant him, plus her powers are specifically magic induced to affect males

Martian has no way of hurting Thor physically and Thor does.

Strength wise, Thor lifted the Midgar Snake, his speed is a factor though, but Martian has to get in close to do damage. Also him going intangible means he also can't hit anyone if he is in that state, Thor will turn him into stone or gas. It's a stomp either way

If you think it's a stomp you're a dumbass. MM could easily beat Thor unconscious.

I am a dumbass for disagreeing with you? yeah that makes sense.

Tell me how Martian will win then? By turning intangible? Martian cannot hit anyone while being in that form, he has to turn back to do damage.

By punching him? Thor will take it and be able to hit back just as hard. By mind raping him, um yeah try doing that to him and he will laugh it off.

Magic hammer, plus transmutation spells that allows him to turn living tissue into gas/rock/ whatever will be key here. He can also last way longer in a fight and can increase his strength and durability at will.

By thats okay I guess people are dumbasses if they disagree with you.

If it's Runeking Thor, then it's a stomp.

If it's not Runeking Thor, then Manhunter wins, relatively easily.

If it is Rune King Thor, than it's a stomp. But can Fox confirm that a Skyfather level character can be in this?

No, because you have no knowledge of the characters.

There are many ways Martian could win. Turn intangible, stick his hand through Thor, and viola, dead Thor. MM is just as strong, and much faster, so he would defeat Thor in h2h.

Show me 2 scans of Thor using this against an opponent that he knows nothing about.

Martian Manhunter is arguably the more powerful telepath than Moondragon, and Thor won't laugh off anything. MM wins.

SLOT Six: The Team's OH SHIT button

All out baby.  The Big Gun.  The only things that are going to be illegial in this category are cosmic level force of nature entities like Galactus, Q (Star Trek), The Living Tribunal, The Phoenix Force, etc.

Examples: Thor, Super Man, Shazam, Silver Surfer, Magneto, Doctor Strange ... Go big or Go Home

But can Fox confirm that a Skyfather level character can be in this?

The particulars of this slot was actually discussed among the Draft character judges, of whom I was one, and the rule was, as I've previously stated in this thread, no cosmic forces of nature aka abstracts.

With that in mind, Rune King Thor is allowed.

although I was a judge and disagreed.  Any reality warping character can technically be considered low to high level cosmic.  When you get into reality warping, its just who is stronger in that area.  Take Galactus for example, you cant choose him but you can choose Franklin Richards that can alter the universe with a thought.  That seems a little off to me.

I allowed Thor as a good character at his base level and same with Manhunter.

the other judges choose to stretch Fox's definition to its furthest point and manipulate what he wanted.  I like to stick with what Fox was truly thinking by having this slot as characters like regular Thor, Superman, Orion, Wonder Man, Lobo, Black Adam, Doomsday, Juggernaut, Hulk, etc. ALL BASE LEVEL

...Q's a Force of Nature Entity? I thought he was from a race of others like him so don't see how that would necessarily constitute him as a Force of Nature. That is, abstract entities. I could be wrong though so please inform me. :)

You could also take Scarlet Witch for example at her strongest.

Thor did repel Emma Frost's telepathy, even empowered by 1/5 (1/4 maybe? I'm not sure if it took place before or after one of them relinquished the power) of the Phoenix Force, in AvX. The people were doing things such as high level matter and reality manipulation, even with 1/5 of the Force, and Frost was already fairly powerful in the first place (not as powerful as Manhunter, but still). I think that's a pretty high end feat.

Thor still wins imo. I am not all knowing, but I do have an opinion that is my own.

Reason for it, although Marian is powerful, he is not what I would consider Thor level. In the old comics, Thor has gone tow to toe with Hulk, Thanos, etc.. He has been attacked mentally and yes he may be proned to that attack, but his natural godly powers make it extremely difficult to do so.  Moondragon is imo as powerful as you can get with Mind Powers and she was not able to stop him.

I just think that being his best weapon would fall short to stopping Thor especially if Thor is about to get killed he would call upon the powers he holds to the fullest, which means transmutation, he can follow light speed movements and even faster movements. He has mastery over lightning, which he can use to ignite anything including flesh. He can cause storms (that won't do much)

But he is the far better fighter and although Martian is smart, Thor makes up for it in tactics and plain old durability.

It might actually be difficult for Thor to beat Thor unconcious
