For one - Surfer can transmute all of Gogeta's attacks to be literally ineffective, and another - they've never shown the capability to go near light speed let alone FTL, which Surfer can travel close to before hopping into hyperspace. Not only that but he has cosmic awareness, i.e. he'll be aware of Gogeta's position and energy attacks at all times and can transmute them accordingly. In fact, he could simply transmute the ki from Gogeta into something else, effectively rendering him powerless until he gets his ki back some other way. Seriously, there's so much going for Silver Surfer here. Just hit the wiki on Surfer and you'll see why. A Herald of Galactus is nothing to sneeze at, even by DBZ standards. By far. The more powerful Gogeta should be able to do the same.Buu transformed Vegito via a magical transformation beam. That =/= matter manipulation. Alternatively, Gogeta shoots energy blasts which Surfer promptly absorbs and then hits Gogeta with an energy blast so hard it actually generate rips in space time, gravitationally crushing Gogeta into subatomic particles and spitting little pieces of him into alternate dimensions.
