Fox Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Season two has been pretty exciting (in my humble opinion) and as we get close to the end of the Individual Rounds there are still a lot of teams that look like they could get into the top slots. Should be interesting. This thread, is to throw out ideas for slots in season three. Got any? Throw in a suggestion. Also, if there is any problems you see coming out of Seasons One and Two (the Draft itself, matches, slots, etc) that we might could address in Season Three, please throw that out as well. Thanks! If there are 40-something teams and you say just "Magic Users" in general, then a few teams are going to have characters which will absolutely decimate the field. In Season Two the individual rounds are almost over. The four Players which have the most wins go to the Team Rounds. There are two Team Rounds. That's whats in the FAQ, anyways. Sword Wielders Slot (Example would be a Aragorn or Samurai)4. Characters from Fiction Slot (Must come from a novel first)5. Vechicle Slot (Car battles. Think twisted metal type battles or car chases. )6. Spaceship Slot 7. Soldier Slot (Must be a soldier currently and no super-humans. No peak humans either.) There are plenty of team leaders in the database and the battle arenas could be stuff like; seek and destroy missions, (various targets, including the other character, the Death Star, Doctor Doom and other big baddies) Commanding armies (World War II, Iraq and Afganastan, The Empire from Star Wars, and other things that require leadership and stragegy rather than just punching somebody) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This would work for characters from shows like Pokemon, Digimon, and Bakugan.　 I also thought of some Battle Terrains. Guest badpierce Posted July 3, 2013 Share Posted July 3, 2013 I like the idea of space ships or vehicle matches, sometimes it could be a battle and sometime it could be a race or something. I also like the idea of Race/army. Beast/animal battles would be cool too. We definently need power levels for each slot and maybe a backup plan for someone who makes it in by mistake. Maybe letting the 3 judges vote on if someone is overpowered or against the idea of the slot. If character did get excepted by mistake then said character could be suspended/forced benched.Edit: if you you wanted to top the oh shit button, we could go full on god slot. No limits at all. Adventurers ( Think Nathan Drake or Indiana Jones)2. Cartoon Slot ( Not Toons with Toon Force. Think Simpson, Mickey Mouse depending on the version, Darkwing Duck, South Park, Family Guy, and others)3. Slasher Slot (Chucky or Jason for ex)4. Monster Fighter Slot ( Think main heroes from Resident Evil, Beowulf himself, Walking Dead, Vampire Hunters, and more)5.
