Bergy_Berg
Time War. I win. The Doctor really didn't do something evil though. He saved the universe from the time lords.
AVP vs The Terminator
The Doctor really didn't do something evil though. He saved the universe from the time lords. Only the ruling council were planning on wiping out all life in the multiverse-- heck, it was basically just Rassilon bullying everybody else into following his orders. There were still billions of other, completely innocent Time Lords who got annihilated - people like Romana, the Doctor's family, etc. It was necessary, yeah-- to end the conflict that was swallowing up whole galaxies, stop Rassilon from following through with his plan, and destroy the Daleks once and for all (which worked out fantastically >_>), but the fact remains that he effectively killed millions of people. Genocide is pretty bad. And the Doctor isn't evil for doing it (needs of the many and all that), but it was technically a pretty damn evil act. Guest Dinsdale Piranha
What AVP said. The Doctor did what he did to prevent a greater tragedy, but what he did was horrible. If he didn't understand that and feel torn up with guilt about it, he'd be just one more killed with a self-serving rationale.
Guest bigballerju
Actually Superman isn't just as guilty if you read the comics. I provided examples above. People in Metropolis don't die anywhere even close to Gotham for a reason. Star City isn't even as bad as Gotham as well.
