Superman battles all the characters from the Dragon Ball franchise. Note: This is the version of Superman that is so powerful from the Original DC Universe. Silver Age Superman has close to unlimited power. Okay, It's hard to say how many planets; I count a dozen but it's hard to know where the end of the string is. We don't know how big the planets are, but it's pretty impressive. And look at Superboy; he's not sweating, there's no visible tension in his muscles or expression of effort on his face. But that's not the impressive part of this feat. He's taking them to the other side of the Universe! Lord knows who he decided that was necessary with so many millions of galaxies closer at hand, but this suggests that he can travel at many millions of times the speed of light, and you know that nobody on those rescued planets is going to be harmed by the impossible forces put on their homeworlds. DC may claim that silver Age Superman got his power from the energy of the yellow sun, but someone who can do this could blow out the sun like a candle. Guest sirmethos Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 It's amusing that a fan of DBZ, who supposedly know as much about the universe as Pymp, doesn't actually seem to understand how various things actually work in that universe. Fact: The Dragon is only as powerful as the one that created it. In the early series, that would be Kami. In the later series, it's Dende. This is something that is, iirc, directly stated. Pymp seems to be of the misconception, that being equally powerful, means being able to do the same things. That is not the case. It only means that the Dragon only has as much raw power, as the one that created it. However, by the very nature of its abilities, it is able to use that raw powers, in ways that the creators(the namekians) cannot. Kami, and Dende for that matter, is incapable of bringing even a single person back from the dead(make them living again). But the Dragon is easily capable of doing just that. That doesn't mean that the Dragon is more powerful, it just means that the Dragon can use that power in ways that are not available to the Namekians. Cell for example. But let's say he did. No, he can't depower Supes, just as he couldn't kill Nappa. He couldn't affect beings more powerful than his creator against their will. I cite the time they tried to bring Goku back to Earth with a wish after Namek's destruction, only for him to politely refuse. Or the aforementioned time they tried to have the Dragon kill Nappa and Vegeta on route to Earth. Um ok, let's pretend this one works. What difference does it make? All the Z-Fighters require oxygen, so they're going to be fighting on Earth anyways. Unless you're counting on one of the villains to blow up the planet, this is moot. Unless you mean wishing for it in space? Then I would point you back to the fairness thing. Making him old? The guy survived for thousands of years. What would this accomplish, other than making it humiliating to lose to a grandpa? And again, fairness. I must say, for a fan, you don't seem to know their personalities. Not that this matters, cause none of the above would work anyway. Oh yes, finally! Something the Dragon can do! Yes he can recharge their ki like that. And guess what? They can do it as much as they want, it wouldn't help. Especially since they can only do it 3 times. Goku can throw all the Spirit Bombs he wants at Supes. As a pure good individual, Supes can catch, stop and reflect them. If he doesn't dodge of course. His most powerful attack wouldn't faze Superman. If it even hit. Speed and stamina. Good choices. Won't stop Goku's hand from getting injured should he decide to punch Supes. And again, fairness. You don't seem to know much about DBZ. I am disappoint. They are fighting in Asgard, not the Earth. Anyway, I thought of someways on how the Dragon Ball Characters could beat Superman. 1. Buu absorbs Superman. 2. Baby takes over Superman’s body. 3. Ginyu switches bodies with Superman. 4. Garlic Jr pulls Superman into the Dead Zone. 5. Spike the Devilman uses the Devilmite Beam on Superman.
