SSJRuss
JR: Welcome back to the 2nd Annual Grand Cross-Galactic Budokai Tenkaichi. I'm so excited, ladies and gentlemen, to bring it home if you will, by calling the last two matches of round one. Here are my co-hosts, Master Roshi and Mr. Satan. Roshi: Glad to be here, haha! Mr. Satan: That's right! The champ, Mr. Satan, is here! And I, for one, am glad this round is coming to an end. Only the strong survive and we have some strong competitors coming into round two. Roshi: You have a point there. These young bloods have given us quite the show. JR: Couldn't have said it better myself. Looks like the action is getting underway with both combatants heading to the ring. Roshi: Damn, I was hoping for an intermission. You know, the ones with the ladies-- Mr. Satan: No chance, Roshi! Have some decency. JR: Well, these two aren't ladies. Two warriors from two very different worlds and if you ask me, they look like they're ready to get some blood on their hands. Mr. Satan: I'd bet on that, JR. Even being the world champ, I wouldn't want to run into either of these guys in a dark alley. *Maul gets into stance, igniting his double-bladed lightsaber. Bloodshot, crackling his neck, pulls out his knife in one hand and a gun in the other.* _______________________________________________________________________ Darth Maul VS Bloodshot Each combatant will have respected powers and equipment that they can carry into the ring. No outside help or influence. No prior knowledge of each other's capabilities. Tournament standard ring from Dragon Ball. Ring Out, Knockout, or Death all count as elimination. Peypeypeypey
I don't know much about either, so I had to reach here, but from what I say Bloodshot has a pretty good chance here. The two questions to answer in fights with Jedi/Sith are: 1. Can they escape a force ability? 2. Can they survive a lightsaber? For the first one, Bloodshot's got a Synaptic burst he can use even when incaped that has been shown to hurt telepaths, make people's ears bleed through ear plugs, and at its strongest, seems to do serious damage to people. He also has a healing factor arguably better than Wolvie's, but that won't really help him much here. Can he survive a lightsaber? No, but he is likely faster than Maul. He can dodge missles and catch up to trucks and tanks that are ahead of him. If he gets force choked, he can just Synaptic burst, or otherwise use his nanites to pull Maul's attention away from himself. As far as I know, Maul is tough, but there's nothing implying that a knife to the neck wouldn't kill me. Again, I might be wrong, but I didn't find anything implying that. Someone with more Star Wars knowledge can chime in, but from what I'm seeing Bloodshot at least has a decent chance

I am, however, a Star Wars expert so... I don't think Bloodshot can effectively counter either the Force or the Lightsaber. He could try taking Maul's saber or damaging it, which isn't impossible, but if he can't he's at a disadvantage. He can survive getting hit with it but I don't know how far his healing factor can save him. One thing he does have going for him is the fact that his bullets will splint into shrapnel when they come in contact with a lightsaber. Meaning, Maul needs to be more careful. The force can guide him, but it can't predict everything. The Force could choke or even snap Bloodshot's neck but if that doesn't slow him down, there is little else Maul can do. He can't use lightning. So if Bloodshot is as strong as I think, Maul can only hope to get a ring out to win.

That could do real damage and he can activate it hands-free, so if he's getting choked, or his neck snapped he can always just pop it
