*Ainz announces the final match of the first round. Ryu walks into the ring.*

JR: Okay, here we are! The last match of the night. Capcom icon Ryu goes head to head---

Mr. Satan: ME!

*Mr. Satan stands on top of the commentary table*

JR: What the hell!? Mr. Satan, get down--

Mr. Satan: That's right! The moment you'll all been waiting for. Here comes the world champ out of nowhere, destined to win the budokai tenkaichi! WHA-HA-HA

JR: You can't do that! Ryu's opponent is--

Mr. Satan: You shut your mouth, JR. I'm giving these people what they want!

*Mr. Satan jumps into the ring.*

Mr. Satan: Intimidated, chump? Time to stop playing and step in the ring with me!

*Ryu opens his eyes, takes a deep breath and gets into his battle stance.*

JR: Um... I don't know what to say, folks. I'm getting word now from the back that the match has been changed. My co-host Mr. Satan goes one on one with Ryu to finish out our first round. I advise you hold on to your seat, because things are about to pick up!

Heh, unless one of the Z-Fighers steps in to save Hercule's butt, he gets hilariously curb-stomped.

Eh, I'm honestly not sure it's a stomp. Ryu is definitely a better fighter, but Satan is strong enough to punch through a bus (I think) and fast enough that he once left an after image and blitz an armed gunman. He's also durable enough to survive a hit from Cell that launched him hundreds of feet in the air. Ryu is definitely more skilled and probably stronger, but if he does win, it's probably by ring out

Looking at their feats side by side, I'm not convinced Ryu is any stronger than Hercule. Durability seems matched to me as well so I think it comes down to wits and technique. Hercule can play idiot and totally throw Ryu off guard, leaving him open. Ryu has ki control and Hercule has no way around that except dodging.

Comes down to a slug fest. Neither of them would allow themselves to be rung out in this setting.

Jesus. I didn't mean for this to happen

I know I'm in shock. I can't even think in my head how he pulled this off.

Eventually I came up with the idea that he made a false square in the floor that Ryu stepped on and fell through it with one foot and it touched the ground and it was a ring out.

That is probably exactly what happened
