Sonja would presumably not be familiar with a modern prison structure and would take at least some time to get familiar with it. If the scenario is a race to see who gets out first, I think this would be significant for the victor.

To be fair, the scenario doesn't give the era of the prison.  It doesn't specifically say Modern.

It could be some  torturous Medieval shit right out of "The Count Of Monte Cristo".   And then the both of them would probably be done for.

Fair enough, I'm also not really knowledgeable on Sonja, she may be more resourceful than what I'm giving her credit for. I think Frank is better equipped to think on his feet an plan out an escape.
