Posted September 29, 2020 Share Posted September 29, 2020 Rogue needs to get close to make the most use of her powers and Magneto is one of the people who can effectively keep her from getting close. Even on a swampy misty planet like this, which might give Rogue slightly better odds of sneaking up/getting close...I still don't really see that going her way. Which means she doesn't even need to touch Magneto to absorb his powers. Combine that with her current Wonder Man powers, and she could actually pretty easily take this fight. They wouldn't be equal in power though. Rogue would be sapping his power from him. He would be powerless. Magneto can't stop it if Rogue doesn't need to touch him for the power drain. And with the Wonder Man powers she already has Magneto can't put her down quickly to stop the drain either. Marvel has managed to write Rogue to be powerful enough to take Magneto. Unless a very specific version of Rogue has a very specific game in condition, Magneto should win this 9.99/10 times. Even in better conditions, Magneto should toss her around.
