SSJRuss
Just now, Bergy_Berg said: This challenge definitely belongs to the Crocodile Hunter. The match is bull riding, not crocodile hunting. Most interesting man in the world already won this scenario earlier. He can do this with his eyes closed.
Peypeypeypey
Crocodile Hunter would have more experience with similar types of stuff though. What a good sentence. But you get what I mean. Steve Irwin works with big, dangerous animals all the time, and that experience gives him a massive edge here. He's got this ezpz
SSJRuss
Just some context for you non-believers. Steve Irwin learned everything he knew from him.
Bergy_Berg
He's interesting, but he's also always old and drinking beer in those commercials. Which means he's weaker and drunker than Steve Irwin.
Peypeypeypey
So now I can say I watch 7 and a half minutes of commercials for shit beer just for one of these fights. Most of those statements weren't even about his physicality. It was just dumb shit that wouldn't help him at all in this match-up, and the narrator of those stories is wildly inconsistent. It says he bowls overhand, and then we see him bowling just like a regular dude. The last commercial makes it very clear that these are just exaggerated stories we're hearing about him second-hand. I'm thoroughly unimpressed, and Steve Irwin would absolutely demolish him in this competition.

He is NOT the physical god we were told he was. He is beatable. Let's go, Steve!

He had to have done things to get there. There are plenty of things in these commercials that make him extraordinarily charismatic, worldly, and interesting. As you said it's not helping in this particular scenario, but considering he ran with the bulls in one of his commercials and he seems very comfortable with challenges and danger, we can assume he can do this no problem. I mean, if he had failed this before then people would not be talking about him the way they are. I don't think we've ever seen Steve ride a mechanical bull or heard about him doing that to my knowledge. I admit I know little about his exploits so I could be wrong. Doing the Running of the Bulls does nothing to help you with this scenario. You don't ride any bulls in that. I don't know of Steve Irwin ever explicitly riding a bull either, but he does regularly deal with animals, many of which are large, angry, and trying to get him off of them or away from them. This is far closer to what he does everyday than the Most Interesting Man in the World

This is far closer to what he does everyday than the Most Interesting Man in the World We see MIMW interact with quite a few dangerous animals. It's implied he has a way with them. Looking at the big cat in the kitchen and the commercials with a bear as examples. As for running with the bulls, we see him running toward the bulls instead of the norm. Normally, that would be suicide. But not for MIMW. My point is if he can do some of the things we see him do, then he can ride mechanical bull easily. The same can be set for Steve, yes, but he doesn't have experiences with bulls.

A common part of catching crocodiles is piling on top of it to stop them from death rolling to escape, and the larger crocs can push 2,000 pounds, which is far bigger than your average bull. I don't have evidence of Steve Irwin himself doing this to a croc this big admittedly, but it's also not really my point. Neither of them have experience with this specific challenge, but Steve has much closer experience, and a ton more of it. His life is working with massive animals, many of whom he has to physically interact with and restrain, and he's a very athletic and outdoors-y kind of guy. This challenge is just better suited for him

Versam
I know we're all bashing on The Most Interesting Man In The World right now, but there are actual feats in that 7-minute video. Though, all we needed was the first 10 seconds. In seconds 3-8, we see MIMW doing stunts on a horse. And, sure it's not a bull, but it's in the same family. And you can't have a handle on tricks like that without having extensive training in basic-horse riding. Plus, can we discuss the core strength it takes for him to handstand on the back of a moving horse!?!?!? And then holding on while partially hanging off? That is literally the skills he needs to win at mechanical bull riding. It's about being able to move with the 'animal', not laying on it until it stops moving which is what Steve does. Different animal, different skillset.

Different animal, different skillset. The way I see it, there are two ways to interpret the most interesting man the in the world. If we interpret everything he does and everything that's said about him literally, he's just 100% not in the right category. He has explicit combat skills in one of the commercials, able to fight off two people at once, he completely outraces a boat with 3 men rowing in it on his own. It might not explicitly be a superpower, but 1. it is explicit combat training, and 2. he is demonstrably superhuman in many ways. However, like I said, I think the last commercial puts it all into context. These are stories of him. Hyperbolic retellings of things he's done that have been blown out of proportion. Also, and I don't mean to belittle anyone's taste here, but he shills for Dos Equis dude. He drinks piss water and gets paid for it

In this slot he's just a possibly entertaining character who embellishes the stories of his life as tall tales. Like the movie Big Fish. If you want to take his tall tales literally, Chuck Norris style, then that's a different slot. This is for goofy, normal people... which TMIMITW totally is when taken in that old guy telling stories context. Steve Irwin, on the other hand, is also a goofy normal dude... who jumps on crocodiles and was literally done in by a freaking stingray. That some bad ass gooffery right there. Just like legendary characters with no real feats but instead just a massive amount of ridiculous statements. It would be total anarchy
