I know getting The Alliance to act against the Reaper Invasion must be a pain in the ass. I’ve had similar trouble convincing the Turian Government to do anything. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that I’ve taken action into my own hands. Done some scouting in a few hard to reach places and I think I’ve found something. A potential asset to our team actually. I’ve attached a quick dossier of this guy. He’s a bit of a wild man, but his instincts are sharp. You can judge for yourself. [Dossier: The Hunter] Turok - Primitive Weapons Expert - High Adaptability and Survivability - Expert Tracker and Big Game Hunter Turok is a hunter of monsters. He has no affiliation with any organization. He exhibits tactical and strategic expertise when hunting dangerous creatures. Currently being recruited by Archangel as a potential asset against the Reaper threat. [End of Dossier] Found him in an unnamed world in the Terminus Systems. The world is full of creatures that I’m sure even the Reapers would be afraid of. I was attacked by something called a ‘Rathalos’, when Turok found me. He’d been tracking the beast for a while. Never seen someone kill something so large with primitive weapons before. You should have seen it, Shep. Reminded me of the Krogan, to be honest. I’m traveling with him now, trying to understand this world and convince him to come with me when I leave. I think he’s just waiting for me to prove myself. Apparently, he’s never heard of Archangel. We’ve taken out a few creatures. Turok is showing me how to track them and use their remains as material for armor and weaponry. Good thing too, because my rifle isn’t doing shit to them. Never done this many calibrations on my gun just to kill an animal. Made some new parts from the material we’ve gathered so now I’m doing some real damage. We’re tracking another beast, but something else has found our trail. Followed us all the way up a mountain. I’m writing this now from under a ridge, waiting for an opportunity to kill these things and press on. We don’t know what they are, but we know there are at least three of them. Connection is weak. My last three emails haven’t gone through so I hope you somehow get this. I just saw one of these monsters, Shepard. Just between you and me, I'm nervous. Turok doesn’t seem bothered but I can feel he’s tense. We got a plan, but I need to get out of this ridge and make it to higher ground. Once I put them down, I’ll send you another update. - Love G. Making me think outside the box lol. I really didn't know how to write Turok. I assumed he is like the video game version. Throwing him and Garrus into MH felt natural though. I think they have a good chance at winning just based on adaptability and they have already fought a few monsters by this point.
