Even if that were true, and it's definitely not, MM can just turn intangible and telepathically destroy Starfire. Peypeypeypey Posted October 15, 2020 Share Posted October 15, 2020 I'm just gonna put a point on this here: Here's Martian Manhunter beating Triumph, a Superman level threat, with relative ease. While his physicals aren't as strong as Superman's, he is often an even match for him and is physically on par with him. Starfire is regularly shown to be below Superman's tier in strength, but Manhunter is much more competitive with him. In terms of speed, Manhunter wins that as well. Here he is keeping up with the Flash. He is fast enough to outpace someone who teleported, making him presumably massively FTL. He is also incredibly durable, capable of fighting evenly with Black Adam, tanking full force punches and continuing to fight. Starfire's Star Bolts would be useless because he can just phase through them. He has phased through explosions and heat vision before, so there's no reason to assume that could even hurt him. The smoking gun here is his telepathy. Starfire has no way to counter it, and he has shown the ability and capability to use it all the time. It's often how he starts a fight. His telepathy is so strong that he can shut down Gorilla Grodd just through his telepathy. He can affect Spectre's mind, who is so much stronger than Starfire in every way. He can read the mind of a reality warping Dr. Destiny. Martian Manhunter has the durability, strength, speed, versatility, and regen advantage, and his telepathy could and would overpower Starfire easily. What he lacked in appearances he more than made up for in showings. He was universal+ in terms of power. He was the single most powerful entity in the Amalgam universe by far and he was holding it together on his own.
