Fox
Part 1: Revengers Latveria, DoomCastle, Mutation FacilityDoctor Eugene Alias had spent almost his entire life as partof Lord Doom's Science Core. His job was to work on things that were considereda waste of his lord's time, mostly improving the armaments in his lord'smilitary. Even once in a while, though, he did get the chance to work on a planto eliminate the accursed Heroes. The last two years have seen Alias doing moreto get rid of the Avengers and Fantastic Four. The job wasn't easy. The groups had been working closelytogether recently, and between the two of them, had at least one man or womanfor almost every situation. Alias needed a plan that couldn't be planned for. Aplan that would cause distrust among the groups. The Fantastic Four had beenthe same team for years. Breaking them apart would be nearly impossible, butthe Avengers had suffered a horrible loss with the death of Captain America.Iron Man wasn't half the leader Rogers was. Now how to make use of thatadvantage was the problem. The solution came from an extraterrestrial world. A trade ship from Latveria had been hit on the way to theSkrull Homeworld by an unknown meteorite. The crew investigated and wasattacked by a black beastly alien. After several of the crew was killed, thealien was caught. Identified as a Xenomorph, the crew kept it in the brig untilthey were able to return to Latveria. While seemingly ravenous beasts, the Xenomorphs are actuallycapable of intelligent thought and have a complex language that humans have, sofar, been unable to decipher. The creatures can from elaborate plans to captureprey or close them in small rooms to let the facehuggers lay eggs insideunlucky victims. But the most devious quality of the Xenos is in their veryblood. The blood is a highly potent acid. The crew brought the Xenomorph backto Latveria. The monsters would be extremely useful in the downfall of theHeroes of Earth. Now two years later, Doctor Alias was watching over thelatest experiment. The Xenomorphs would be infected with a mutant gene. If thegene took hold, it would increase the alien's strength to unnatural levels, buta hidden focus of the gene was to allow Lord Doom to control the Xenos himself. He watched as the countdown of the procedure began. "Five seconds until Gene Infusion," said an assistant."Three seconds. One. Gene Infusion in progress." Needles all along theXenomorph's restraints injected a purple liquid into the bone of the alien. Theneedles and restraints were immune to the acid blood and the Xenomorph howled. The sound was comparable to the awakened spirits of beings tortured beyondimagination. Yet, it felt strangely pleasing to Alias. This was the creaturethat would kill the heroes. "Muscles enhanced by thirty percent," the assistant said "More than we expected," said Doctor Alias. "Brain activity increased by fifty percent." "Did you say the brain activity has been increased, aswell?" asked Doctor Alias. "Yes sir. By fifty percent. Exoskeleton hardness increasedby ten percent." "My god. It's reacting much more strongly with the gene thanwe hoped. Did the controlling gene take effect yet?" "No sir. The Xenomorph has built up a mental defense to themental inhibitor. Perhaps a side effect of putting it and the performance enhancerin the same gene." "Perhaps," Alias sighed. He didn't want to bring in any kindof failed experiment to Doctor Doom, but maybe there was a flip side to this.If the aliens could be released into a populated area, the Heroes would be sobusy trying to fend off the infestation that Doom could send in an invasion tofinish off the tired heroes. There were more tests to be made. This particularXenomorph was a queen and would produce face huggers soon. If the gene hadbecome hereditary, the queen's offspring would yet be of use. The XenomorphQueen was left alone and preparation for the births were underway. Several days later...Alias scowled as he read the reports on the newbornfacehuggers. The offspring had indeed inherited the gene, but as a side effect, the creatures had inherited a bright ruby color. Alias had arranged for hosttesting to be done today, but the face huggers were so blatantly bright, noprey with intelligence greater than that of a household cat would be ambushedand implanted by it. "The volunteers have arrived," reported a Doom Sentry. Alias sighed. "Bring them in." The doctor decided that itwas no use to let the specimen go to waste. Doombots hooked the 'volunteers' upto table where they would be easy access to the face huggers and sealed thepeople in. In a few hours, they would have new Xenomorphs to test on. Aliasretired to his quarters to finish up some paperwork on this latest project. Later...Papers and pens flew from the desk to the floor. A mugcrashed into a wall and the unlucky secretary was forced to stand in witness ofthe outrage. "How the hell did this happen?" asked Alias. "We had ten overtwenty test subjects. How did we only get one new creature?" "The enhanced embryos were unable to incubate inside the bodies. The creature that did emerge had a meta-human host. For some reason, this newspecies needs a superhuman host to reproduce." "Damn." Alias sunk back into his chair. His fingers pressedhis temples as he thought through the current problem. "We don't have manymeta-humans in this country. We usually kill them off at birth. But theAmericans have plenty. Practically every other person was a meta-humanoverseas. How many face huggers do we have left?" "Four sir." "Gather them up with the new Xeno. I have an idea." Forest in Michigan, Several weeks later...The Avengers had answered about a strange machine wanderingaround the area. The group had split up into four search teams. So far, nothinghad been found. "My scanners haven't picked up anything," said Iron Man."I'm beginning to wonder if this call wasn't someone being paranoid or seeing atrick of light." "I've had my doubts since the beginning of the mission,"replied Thor. "It seems unlikely that man and machine would cross paths in thisbarren wilderness." "Captain America calling Iron Man," said a voice over IronMan's internal communicator. "I hear you Cap. What is it?" he asked. "Black Panther and I found She-Hulk and Tigra unconscious. They're fine, but they don't remember what happened." "Be right there." Iron Man shut the com off and activatedhis Avengers scanner, a device that pinpointed the location of Avengersteammates. "Thor, Cap wants us to meet him. I have his location now." The twoAvengers flew over the forest, following the homing signals of She-Hulk andTigra. Thor and Iron Man turned to fly underneath the snow covered, forest canopy. Avoiding low hanging branches, the two glided to the spot whereSpider-Man and Spider-Woman were already waiting with Captain America and BlackPanther. Tigra was licking dirt out of her fur, trying to act like nothing hadhappened. She Hulk was leaning against a tree engaged in conversation with theleader of the Avengers. "I told you I don't know what happened Cap. One minute,Tigra and I are searching for the bogey we were informed of. The next, we'rebeing shaken awake by you and T'Challa.""Any sign of it," asked Iron Man as he landed in the middleof the party. "No. Not a hint of anything. Tigra picked up a strangescent, but she decided it was just the unfamiliar territory." "Seems like somebody's seeing things Cap. My spider-sensehasn't gone off since we arrived. I doubt anything's...Move!" Spider-Man leapedoff the branch he was sitting on with all of his superhuman agility. A silveredrobot ran through the wood and charged towards whoever was directly in front ofit. Unfortunately, that happened to be Thor, God of Thunder. In the space offive seconds, the machine was beheaded by a strike from Mjolnir and hammeredinto the trunk of a large evergreen tree. "Okay, so I was wrong," said Spideyafter the machine was decapitated. "What is it Iron Man?" asked Thor. "Surveillance probe. Looks to be of Latverian design. DoctorDoom must have tried to set up a spy base inside US territory. It perceived usas a threat and attacked with a type taser." "You two got tripped up by a tin man with a stun gun?" askedSpider Woman to She Hulk and Tigra. She let out a little laugh clearly meant toirritate her teammates. "Shut up," replied She Hulk. Thor walked back to Captain America and Iron Man. "It feelsa waste that we came all the way out here just to handle a wayward machine.Well, if there is nothing else I will return to Asgard." "Is there anything wrong, Thor?" asked Captain America. "There was no trouble when I left, but I do not wish to beabsent long enough for Loki to notice and take advantage. Farewell, my friends.Contact me if anything else happens." "Farewell, Thor." The ruler of Asgard flew off into the skytoward the Midgard Gate, the bridge between Asgard and Earth. The rest of theAvengers headed back to the Quinjet. Captain America and Iron Man were inconversation about what Doctor Doom could have wanted in the forest the spydrone had been found in. She Hulk, Spider Woman and Tigra were gossiping aboutthe latest superhero couples. Spider-man was failing miserably at trying to getBlack Panther to laugh. The team boarded the aircraft and lifted off to startthe flight back to Avengers' HQ. Later that night,The usual peaceful silence of the nighttime Avengers Mansionwas broken by two screams. Steve Rodgers woke from slumber and grabbed hisvibranium shield out of pure soldier instinct. After a few seconds, heregistered the sounds of the security sirens wailing at full volume. A secondlater, the voice of Black Panther was heard over the security intercom. "Irepeat. A disturbance has been recorded in the rooms of She Hulk and Tigra.Iron Man and Captain America report to the room of Tigra. Spider-Man and SpiderWoman are to assist She Hulk." Steve Rodgers rushed out of the room with onlyhis shield and a pair of boxers. There wasn't time to done a costume. He met Iron Man at Tigra's quarters. "How bad is it?" heasked. "Tigra's dead. It looks like something crawled out of herchest. I just called Black Panther on the other scene. The same thing happenedto She Hulk." "What?" Steve looked into the room. He was still groggy fromsleep. There was no way that two Avengers could be killed inside of their ownbase, but sure enough the limp form of Tigra was sprawled across the bed. Herbreastbone had been broken in half and the skin ripped outward. "What the hellhappened?" he shouted in disbelief. "We think the attack on She Hulk and Tigra was a first stepto infiltrate the mansion. The girls were knocked out and some kind of embryowas implanted inside of them. We didn't think anything was out of place. Wedidn't anticipate the attack because the object at the scene satisfied theinformation we were given. Doctor Doom knew we wouldn't investigate further." "Damn it. Now we have two bogeys loose in the HQ doing Godknows what." "Yeah, and it gets worse. Scanners picked up a group ofbogeys crawling out of the ship. They entered the vents where I can't tracethem, so I don't know where they are." Steve took a radio from Iron Man. "How many are there?" "Six." "Avengers be on your guard," said Rodgers into the radio."There are at least eight creatures in the Mansion. We've got to find them andeither capture or eliminate them. Avengers. GO." Avengers-Captain America (Steve Rodgers), Iron Man,Spider-Man, Spider Woman, and Black Panther (T'Challa) must find and kill theXenomorphs and facehuggers. Red Xenomorphs-2 adults and 6 facehuggers. They arestronger, faster, tougher, and more intelligent than the black Xenomorphs. Theyknow the Avengers are looking for them and will stick to the vents and sewers. They will attack if they think they can kill the Avengers. Guest He who fights monsters
I believe that the Red Xenomorphs would actually hide, track the avengers down, and kill them in their sleep. IF they are impossible of such, the Avengers win. A team like that would be great in tactics and power.
videogameman
Iron Man solos. Honestly, his suit can do anything. It WILL locate them. Plus Tony has high tech on his hands. Iron Man, and by extenstion the Avengers, FTW.
Guest Magickal
Avengers win. They are simply too powerful for Xenomorphs in most cases.
