But what's this? A tie in the final bout of round one has restructured the tournament. Neither team qualified to move on so Team Fiery Death Explosion has been seeded into the semi-finals. But let's focus on Round 2! Again we have two teams of three fight the other inside our randomly generated arena. A team wins when the opposing team is completely defeated either by KO, Death, or Submission. Team members will work together as a team and as always, each combatant will have their respective powers and equipment that they can carry into the ring. No outside help or influence is allowed. And there is no prior knowledge of their opponents unless they’ve encountered each other prior to coming to Verse City. Which team will advance? Time for you to decide! I agree that GL wins it for his team single-handedly, but I strongly disagree that Canary would really be able to take Jack. Jack is consistently incredibly fast, nimble, and unbelievably skilled, taking on entire armies and fighting for days on end without losing. He's a good bit above characters like Black Canary, in my eyes. Her martial arts are nowhere near Jack's skill level. Her Canary Cry would give her a shot but I think Jack's durability is high enough that he could reach her with his superior speed and take her out before she does serious damage. And I like Black Canary, she's just outmatched here. GL could pretty easily solo though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hawkgirl could match him in strength and Iron Man is probably a better strategist with a flexible arsenal. I imagine it's a bit closer here. I think Hal would let White Tommy keep Iron Man busy so he can help Canary with Hawkgirl and Samurai Jack. Then he zeros in on Iron Man who's now facing three to one, unless Black Canary gets taken out by Jack. But then It's still two on one. Team 2 wins. I'd go As far to say they excel in team combat.
