Basically if the character is a sidekick in a comedic type show that was okay. That Seth Rogan movie was a comedy, I guess, for certain definitions of "comedy". Fox Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 This is a hard one to judge. I am going just by the Silent Hill film, which is all I have experience with in Silent Hill. I recall that I thought the film was pretty good, but it's been awhile. The protagonist in the film survived it. And she had no skills like Kato's. HOWEVER, she also made decisions Kato wouldn't necessarily make and had some plot armor due to her gender. Being trapped in the Church for an eternity isn't winning, and I don't know that Kato could negotiate with the woman in the Hospital that turned Silent Hill into a nightmare. Tough one! I think Shego fits the mold the same way Penny fits the mold as laid out in the original posting since Kim Possible is definitely a comedic show. It was stated the sidekick themselves didn't have to be comedic.
