It was simple but she was a pretty effective doctor in this instance. So, playing therapist on a teenage girl should be doable. Like, getting her to calm down and all. His age would work against him if he were trying to herd the crowd to safety, and I don't know how likely Carrie would be to take him seriously either. I think the only thing Howser may have going for him is that he is nice, cute, boy around her age and she may listen to him because she craves that acceptance as well.
