The Loser's Club Part 9.2 - Johnny Bravo, Jesse and James vs. Sydney "Syd" Drew and Jaco The Galactic Patrolman

The Loser's Club

Part 9.2

Breakout at Verse City S.P.D Jail

Johnny Bravo was bored out of his mind. He’d been locked up in this cell for a few days now and it seemed like the only entertainment he could find was the incessant rambling of the two other prisoners, Jesse and James, who spoke in rhyme and cried about as much as he did.

Well, Johnny wouldn’t call it crying. He was just making it very clear to these so called ‘Rangers’ that he was innocent. Besides, he’s a tough guy. And tough guys don’t cry. His Momma said so.

Johnny was waiting for his Momma to come and get him out of S.P.D. Jail when the guards threw another girl in the cell beside him.

Johnny took a look at her and whistled to himself. She was a pretty thing, with short hair and a lean build. He tried to strike up a conversation but she was unresponsive, staring straight ahead with a determined look on her face.

That was until Bridge, one of the Galactic Patrol officers, came in to talk to her. Johnny couldn't hear what they were saying but it looked like it could get heated any minute. This chick brought tension to the air like a thunderstorm on a hot day.

In a blur of motion, the chick had elbowed the guard in the face, knocked Bridge down with her knee, and grabbed the keys to the cells. She tossed them to the green creature in the corner and said ‘Help the others!’

And Johnny realized she meant him!

“Yeah yeah, let me out!” said Johnny. The cell containing Jesse and James got unlocked first, then the green man undid Johnny’s.

“Thanks Lil’ kid!,” Johnny said to Greedo.

“Hoona doo zee chee bata. Tooja, neek meecha bongo,” Greedo responded.

"Yeah, whatever."

The chick, Vin, had already pushed past the three guards near the cells and made her way down the corridor. Leaving Johnny, Greedo, Jesse and James to bring up the rear. They ran for freedom.

From behind, Johnny could hear Bridge or one of the other injured officers call for backup. “We have an escape attempt in progress!”

"We're free, Jesse, we're free!" James said to his partner, practically leaping out of his boots.

"Right you are, James." Jesse responded "All that's left now is to get our Pokemon back from these pathetic policemen and find Meowth!"

Johnny remembered hearing the pair cry in their cell about a 'Meowth', whatever that was. It seemed important to them, but Johnny's first and foremost priority was getting his butt clear of his jail.

The group made their way down the corridor and through a door, heading upstairs to the next checkpoint door.

Their luck ran short when two guards stood, blocking the door.

"Stop right there, criminals!" Syd, the SPD Blue Ranger shouted as she pulled out her blaster. Standing by her sides, arms crossed, was a short funny looking man by the name of Jaco.

"You heard the lady, back in your cells!" Said Jaco.

"Sorry, sweet cheeks, but we're not going back to jail," Johnny said with a smirk.

"Don't call me 'sweet cheeks'," Jaco and Syd said in unison.

Vin and Greedo turned back and made a run for it. Maybe there was another way out?

"I said stop!" Syd aimed to fire at them but couldn't get a clear shot with Johnny, Jesse and James in the way.

"Can't we talk about this?" Asked Johnny.

"No," Syd pointed her weapon at Bravo and the escapees.

____________________________________

Bravo, Jesse and James (no Meowth or other Pokemon) must fight off and get past SPD Blue Ranger Syd and Galactic Patrol Jaco, to escape jail. They don't necessarily have to beat them one-on-one, or in the traditional sense, to get a victory. They need only to escape. Syd can use her Morpher but no zord.

A year and a half since the last part, I know...

But here's hoping everyone enjoys. And I plan on making a few more of these in the coming weeks 😁

Good set-up, Russ. Welcome back to the CBUB Match fold. :) The Loser's Club is still making for an interesting crossover event.

As for the match, is Johnny wearing Bootman's boots? If so, he, Jesse, and James should be able to get by Syd and Jaco mainly on the strength of his abilities alone.

In fact, with all that toon force and whatnot, I'm wondering how Johnny was even caught in the first place.

  • Thanks 1

Thanks. Glad to be back and working on this, I missed it.

He doesn't have the boots. But his toon force is pretty strong on it's own. I think he'll hold off on long enough for everyone to get away.

He does get smacked around a lot in the show, so I imagine he got brought in by a woman
