Because J was there when The Colonel that died by Boris's hand towards the end of the Film. He was the Colonel's son. So he was there when Boris altered history by killing K.

So while it's confusing... it's not really a plothole...

That's not what I meant. It is a plothole. J was there as a kid regardless I get that. But as an adult, he runs into K 30 years later and gets recruited into the MIB.

Except K now died in 1969 and isn't there to recruit him, so how is he still an MIB agent?

I buy Batman movies. That's really about it, except the rare occurence such as Let Me In. I download all the rest.

I rarely buy movies, either. I did buy X-Men First Class and the new Sherlock, as part of my Black Friday shopping. Paid $10 combined, for both. That's probably more movies than I've bought the whole year. Anime and video games are expensive hobbies. That's where most of my money goes.

I don't like buying movies new. I feel I get a lot more value out of an anime boxset or a new game, than I do a two hour flick.

Someone else recruited him.

It's not as if Jay's being recruited solely relies on K - though I can understand seeing that J still remembers K and all that might lead you to believe that.

But iirc Agent O seemed to explained that due to the timelines being *vulgarity*ed up by Boris.

I doubt that would happen. Provided that someone else does invite him for the tests and it goes exactly like it did in the film...without K there to persuade Zed to take him on instead of any of those other guys(probably because K remembers him from all those years ago), he gets neuralyzed and is still a cop.

And true enough.

There's that line "where there is death, there will always be death" when Kay got killed in the past that filled the need for death so

J's dad didn't die there. Instead he became an agent. J was recruited either by his dad (he didn't know it was his dad due to him being an agent causing him to have to leave) or by someone else who knew J was his son.

But that's just my theory that I came up with at 5:30 in the morning after giving it about 2 minutes of thought.

The Superman fan in me just went to heaven. Finally!

While movies like Avengers, Iron Man, and Captain America may get the kids attention. The recent Batman and future Superman movie are gonna capture the audience with action and drama.

Yeah that Star Trek trailer was great for only being a minute. I haven't watched much Star Trek. Any clues to who the villain is in the movie? Is that a new villain there doing again? I like the idea of doing new characters if needed and more for reboots as long as the movie is good.

They've released the Star Trek villain, pretty sure. If they haven't, then they've basically given it away. It's supposed to be a guy who went to school with Kirk, then goes bad or something.

Guardians done right will be a huge science fiction hit with the general audience and comic fans. Ant-man is the one movie I am worried about. The general audience might either finally it unique and fun or just plain stupid. You never know with them.

I'm pretty sure it's a new character.
