Odin had lived over several milleniums and now Valhalla's call rang clearly in his ears.... Nay, his heart! He had sired many sons, most he stood proud of! Yet he new that Asgard had it's CHAMPION! Thor Odinson god of Thunder, slayer of Frost Giants, and Protector of Midgard! Odin's one eye fought back a tear. Yes, he was proud and he even felt confident leaving Asgard to his more than capable son's hands. But still ODIN Rules dictated a challenge! He watched as the skies of Asgard opened in a whirl of wind and clouds. Lightning cracked the sky as Thor appeared and floated to the ground. Cheers erupted. Odins old and wizened face smiled. But then he saw, the second of the challenger for his throne. Beta Ray carried Stormbreaker, his weapon gifted by the All-Father, Odin himself! As they both landed in the middle of the huge arena, the applause stopped and the gravity of the situation set in. They annouced that the victor would rule Asgard for ever more. Thor and Beta Ray saluted to Odin and then turned to regard one another. The respect was obvious. They were like brothers and they loved each other... But Odin's words were law and they both would fight for their people! Thor felt Asgard was his first home and that he rightfully was heir to Odin's Power! Bill need to make Asgard a santuary for his Korbinite people... He would face any conflict to insure his people a homeland, and what better place than Asgard! This would be a test of utter heart and prowess! Both were great heroes but only one could be the NEW ALL-FATHER!!! Debate who you think will win and why! I know Beta Ray beat Thor once....That was long ago. Both Heroes have grown stronger and wiser since! Both are at their MOST POWERFUL and have the BATTLE-LUST upon them! Most powerful would put Thor severely ahead of Bill as either Odinforce Thor, Runeforce Thor, or Thorforce Thor have quite a lot of Cosmic power in addition to Thor's usual power set. And also as mentioned by MarvelFan15, Bill does not possess the Warriors Madness ability, which increases Thor's base strength by a factor of 10.
