The Justice League were recovering from their fight with Darkseid.

"I'm fine Batman," Superman said after recovering from his fight with Darkseid. "Clark, we are just checking on you." Batman replied. Superman took a beating from Darkseid in their recent fight. "I can't believe that we have to thank Lex after all he did for saving the planet..." Before Superman could fimish, Flash sped in. "Mail time,"

 he exclaimed. "At a time like this?" Batman said, "Who would give us mail after we just saved the planet." Flash, wasteing no time, opened the letter and read it before anyone else could know what happened. "It said for us to bring 25 members to a match against a rival team in 4 days." "That's quite strange." Martain Manhunter questioned. "Hey, if you ask me, I still ready for a fight," Hawkgirl said. "I don't think we should go," Batman said "It could be a trap." "Nope," Flash said "This came from the CBUB administration. They do this all the time." "Then we have no other choice," Superman said.

Xaivier just finished the picture for the group. "That was a tough match we had with Apocalypse," Scott said. Rouge was just glad it was over. "Maybe now people would leave us alone." Her hopes were dashed as Kurt teleported right on topof her. "Get off me Kurt!." She wailed "Sorry about that. I got a letter from the CBUB administration." Rouge just lifted him off. Kurt let fo of the letter, only for it to be telekinetically held by Jean. She opened it and read the note. "It said we have a match with another team." "I'm always ready for a fight," Wolverine said. "That's because of your healing ability," Kitty quipped. "The rest of us need to hit the hay," "Kitty, the match is in 4 day," Professor X said, " We have plenty of time to rest. Plus, it is for charity. It would be nice to get ourselves known." "Then that settles it;" Cyclops said. "We'll prepare for the trip.

 

The crowd went crazy as two team of superheroes lined up for an exhibition match. After telepaths Jean Grey and Martian Manhunter red their opponents minds to find uot their powers, they had one minute to strategize.

I'd say JLU have this. Most of the X-men could be taken out by one heavy hitter such as Superman or Martian Manhunter. Professor X and Jean Grey are the major threats, it's just a question of whether they match J'ohn, Zatanna and Dr. Fate.

Youforgot that Jean and Professor X could mindwarp almost all of them, or at least use mind control on the likes of Superman and Captain Marvel.

JLU win. Simply put, they have more mebers with big, noisy powers. But the X Men give em hell before they win.

Sure Jean and Professor X have mind control, but I don't know if they could control all of the stronger people the Justice League has.

first off jean is not a big threat in this version. Second Xavier is the X-Mens only real chance and the Martian Manhunter could delay him long enough to allow someone else to take him out.

Fate takes out Charles since its already been proven Charles can't do nothing against a guy like Fate.

Manhunter takes down Jean Grey.

 

Booster Gold, Superman, Green Lantern, Supergirl, Wonder Woman. Batman, Flash, Captain Marvel, Static Shock,

Red Tornado, Doctor Lite, and Zatanna destroy this version of the X-men.

Honestly, this is no-contest. Yes, the X-Men'll be formidable, but JLU has Superman. And Batman. And Green Lantern. And Fate. And... Most of the X-Men in this version don't have their powers well-developed and aren't as truly battle-ready as JLU is.
