DamagingRob
Are you trying to drive him off? I enjoy all 3 of the big three, for different reasons, but I'm not sure if Force would. Champloo, Bebop, Outlaw Star, Ghost in the Shell, etc. might be more up his alley. Then again, if he actually enjoys Inuyasha, I may be wrong. Sessshomaru is badass. Koga gets on my nerves, he's annoying as all hell.

Guest force_echo
DBZ is boring. Naruto is ridiculous. Death Note is more interesting, and I can talk with my my girlfriend about it, which is a plus. Cowboy Bebop is pretty good, and fairly interesting, but boring in some parts. Than again, I haven't watched that much. I don't really like Inuyasha, but I'm still watching it. I hate swords. Anything with swords sucks.
Guest Darxeth
As I said before, I think you'd enjoy Death Note and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Marvel Man
Yeah, DBZ is amazing. However, I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone. You had to have been there. It was such an awesome show, but I think everyone knows about Goku now. It's hard to enjoy such key moments like Piccolo saving Gohan or Majin Vegeta sacrificing himself to destroy Buu, when you already know how it ends. Nah. Don't watch DBZ. I'd say Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. (But I haven't watched that many shows myself).
DamagingRob
Yeaaahhhh... FMA. I recommend it, too, but I'd suggest watching the first series before Brotherhood. You'll be missing out on some of the story in Brotherhood, if you don't, as the whole first season of the original FMA, is condensed into 12 episodes, to get to the new material. The original series started following the Manga storyline, you see, but then deterred halfway through. While Brotherhood, is a completely different series that follows the Manga storyline. But the beginning of it is rushed, to get viewers of the previous series to the new material faster.

DamagingRob
As long as it doesn't have swords. Don't watch any of the above. Well, Ghost in the Shell doesn't have swords. Don't watch any of the others...
Peypeypeypey
Never mind... Don't watch Claymore. Try Gantz. CAUTION: It may or may not have nudity. A lot of nudity

DamagingRob
WARNING: Boobs are shown, briefly. They show boobs in PG-13 movies, so it shouldn't be a problem? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1pqa-yWI6g ^*vulgarity*ing laughed my ass off, watching this episode last night. DamagingRob
The last three episodes of Outlaw Star, were nothing short of spectacular. Once I started watching episode 24, my eyes became glued to my Vita's screen, until it was over. XD I highly recommend you watch it, Force. You like that space crap. So, one of the characters has a sword? The star uses a gun, so there's not a lot of sword fighting. You'll be hard-pressed to find anime series completely without swords. Samurai are a pretty big thing, in Japan. Anywho, the episode in my previous post, was never aired on TV. So, if you watched Outlaw Star on Toonami, you might want to check it out, to see what you missed. DamagEdit: Trigun is a good one, too. No swords, either. Guest force_echo
DRob, I too have realized that almost all anime have some swords. I'll try it out. Is it something like Cowboy Bebop?
DamagingRob
Yes. But in my opinion, much more entertaining. I never was "wowed" by Bebop, like so many other anime enthusiasts seem to be. *Shrugs*
Marvel Man
Finished Trigun. Ending was... Different. But the Wolfwood episode was awesome. Anyways, working on Baccano! now.
Guest Josh M prime
Just Watch The first (and so far only season) of High school of the dead again after a few months. I never noticed all the..... DamagingRob
Finished Trigun. Ending was... Different. But the Wolfwood episode was awesome. Anyways, working on Baccano! now.Heh. I love Trigun. Yeah, the ending is a little different. It actually doesn't feel like an ending. Part of the reason behind that is, the story continues in Trigun: Maximum, which I haven't read. Lazy. But yeah, there are a few series like that, where the show ends, but the manga keeps going. Even though, they may be popular overseas, if they do poorly in Japan, they may get the ax. Marvel Man
Nah, I'm okay with the Trigun ending. Vash the Stampede is such a cool character. It's just like him to do what he does. But yeah. Read manga after the anime? Whaaaat? Reading???? Isn't that why you watch anime instead of reading the manga to begin with?
DamagingRob
Heh. Yeah, I've been screwed by a number of series, with that being the case. Trigun, School Rumble, Kekkaishi, and that Spice and Wolf series, I watched recently, too.
